Jackson turns 9 this weekend, and as you can see in the photo, the young fella is doing alright for himself already. That photo was taken at the Final Four in New Orleans with two girls the KSR crew wishes they had met.
How ’bout some notes and podcast?
— With Anthony Davis added to the preliminary roster for the Olympics, is it too early to start singing. “London Bridge is browing down, browing down, browing down…”
— I’m upset that DeMarcus Cousins was removed from consideration. “Boogie in London” would’ve been an amazing TV show.
— Former Xavier guard Mark Lyons, who just spent a couple evenings in Lexington, will visit Arizona on Friday, according to the Arizona Daily Star. Lyons is set to finish up his junior season at Xavier this week and then it’s on to the next school. He also plans to visit Kansas soon.
— Indiana head coach Tom Crean told CBSSports.com that a decision will come soon on the future of the UK/IU rivalry. “It will come to fruition fairly soon,” he said. “And it may get to that point where it ends.” I don’t see Calipari giving in to making a trip back to Bloomington, so it doesn’t look good for the rivalry unless the Indiana side of the debate caves.
— Move over, Walter McCarty!!! Rajon Rondo is planning to releasing an R&B album in the offseason:
“I don’t see nothin’ wrong, with a little bump -n- refs.”
— Don’t forget about Terrence Jones’ live performance of “Teach Me ‘Bout Kentucky” tonight at Wick’s Pizza in the Highlands. See you there.
— On today’s radio show, Matt told stories of why he believes the Courier-Journal is investigating these fine pages of KSR. Have a listen..
