What were we talking about? Where am I? Who are you? What is this? Ah, yeah. Notes. I lost my train of thought there for a second, for some reason. Notes. I was about to do the afternoon notes. Right. Notes.
— With a free Wednesday night during finals week, Coach Cal will fly to Charlotte this evening to watch the Bobcats and Clippers. The game was part of an auction item he held during the Fantasy Basketball Experience over the summer to raise money for charity. Cal tweeted that he’s excited to see Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Eric Bledsoe play, and he wishes he had time to catch all of us former players in NBA action. “Nothing makes me happier than seeing our guys succeed,” he said.
— Cal will be in Ashland to watch Andrew Wiggins Saturday night after the Lipscomb game. Huntington Prep plays at 7:00 against Arlington Country Day from Florida and you can expect to see the UK staff there. You can also catch Wiggins Friday night at 9:00 against Walnut Hills from Cincinnati.
— Coach Cal will also add some private Sky Miles on Sunday when he flies to New Jersey to watch Karl Towns play. Towns’ St. Joe’s-Metuchen team will play in the Hoop Group Tip-Off event.

— The football news keeps getting better on the recruiting front. A report from Rivals.com earlier today says four-star wide receiver Rashaad Samples is now considering new-look Kentucky. Samples is committed to Oklahoma State, but Neal Brown makes the Cats a new option. Samples spoke highly of Brown when he committed to the Cowboys over Texas Tech, saying he had the best relationship with Brown during his recruitment process.
— The Manual and Male mascots don’t like each other. Watch them scrap…

I’m not so sure those are not real. Usually the fake ones are easy to spot because they are just too round and seem to defy gravity.
