UK Fan Displays the Importance of Sober Driving

Two days ago, a former Kentucky student was involved in a dangerous high-speed chase on LA’s Pacific Coast Highway that eventually led to his arrest. When I mean high-speed chase, I mean a casual 50-mph drive away from Police Officers along California’s coastline. Normally I wouldn’t want to post a video like this because it only reinforces/encourages his behavior, however the way this chase ended is pretty hilarious.

After running over a strip of spikes the suspected drunk driver’s vehicle came to a halt. He then exited his vehicle and began taunting officers, giving them a show-stopping dance performance in the middle of the highway. I’d like to think that his moves aren’t too much different than Matt Jones’ dance clubbin’ moves. After dancing his heart out, he wasn’t ready to go down easy. After being shot by an anti-lethal gun loaded with bean bagged-ammo, he slowly trudged towards the group of officers. After getting within feet of a bullet-loaded gun, 6 officers took nearly 20 seconds to take the suspect down. His crazy-ass wasn’t going down without a fight.

This guy obviously wasn’t listening to Matt Jones’ PSAs: Arrive Alive, Don’t Drink and Drive.

As public trustees, broadcasters may not intentionally distort the news. Broadcasters are responsible for deciding what their stations present to the public, and the FCC has stated publicly that “rigging or slanting the news is a most heinous act against the public interest.”

I’m sure all of you all commenting about slander went to law school…ya, right. But i did. Let me enlighten you and give u a little torts 101 lesson. Slander is oral, where as libel is written. So you are reffering to libel. Secondly, to be considered as libel, the defamation has to be done knowing it is false or without grounds for such an accusation. Third, it has to be done with malicious intent. Therefore on yge fi rst criteria, the cops have said they believed the subject to have been in under the influence of sonething, so that speculation is justified. Secondly, there is no malicious intent within this post. In law, to be gharged with committing a tort, a civil wrong, the act must meet all the criteria which constituesthat particular tort. So, in other words, this post and the nature of this post alone does not meet the requirements of a libel suit grounded in tort law

Yeah this is just hilarious. The guy could have easily hurt someone. All over the road and at 40-50 mph could have caused a serious auto accident. Could have easily killed a family or child. Drunk driving is no laughing matter. I pray you all never lose someone to a senseless act such as this, or have to tell a family member their child is never coming home. Don’t drink and drive.

Is this the first time some of you have read KSR? If so, hopefully it will also be your last, so none of us have to read your ignorant comments anymore. In case some of you haven’t noticed, it’s the middle of f’ing April…basketball season’s over, football season hasn’t started, and there’s only so much of the other sports that can fill the page when they have to keep posting throughout the day every day. If you don’t like it, just stop reading & GTFO, no need to show everyone in the comments section how big of an idiot you are on your way out.

This is off the subject but I read today where a sorority at Indiana had a “homeless themed” party complete with torn, dirty clothing and signs that said things like “I’m not lying, I’m going to buy alcohol”. Pretty classy – NOT.
