Kentucky might not turn out a lot of football players but for UK to be good we MUST get the ones who are good! Looks like Stoops gets it like Brooks did. For UK to pass UL we Must win the recruiting battle in Lousville and in the state. Then with the kids Stoops is getting from Ohio and sprinkle in a few from Flordia and Georgia, UK can be respectable once more

Not to change the subject, but just because there is no other place to post this: Nazr Mohammed just got ejected a few minutes ago for pushing Lebron. And by shove I mean “put Lebron’s ass on the floor.”
Although, I should clarify, in the replays it looks like Lebron flopped like Chris Paul.
Does this mean Stoops and staff doesn’t have the confidence in PT to take control of the team! I was one of the ones who thought when Stoops came on board that PT would be given the keys to the team. I don’t think Whitlow is a SEC caliber QB great athlete but not a consistent QB. Max Smith hasn’t looked any better then a capable back up in the SEC! Patrick needs to step up and take control of this team. He has the talent to be a top shelf QB!
UKBlue, if you knew a week ago, why didn’t you tell the coaches? Hell, why didn’t you tell all of us?

@22 First of all I am shocked that someone still pays money for catspause. Second, you say 99% so you still have an out if he chooses South Carolina.
I can’t wait until our fans learn how you build a football roster. Just because we recruit Barker doesn’t mean we don’t have faith in Towles, Smith, or Whitlow. It means injuries happen, attrition happens, etc. Football recruiting and basketball recruiting are night and day.
@24, very true on both parts, need to take hob off auto renew. And yes always give your self an out lol. But VM was very confident with what he said, I just added the 99% in there so I wouldn’t be killed if he didn’t come. So I’m sure the main coaches had a reason to believe he was coming for at least a week now.

25) I know that every school keeps at least 4 QB’S on there roster because of injurys, poor play, and continuity. The reason I was asking about their confidence in Towles has more to do with the staff not naming him starter going into spring football! Given this is a new staff with no ties to any player seems if Towles was their guy they would be building him up now! Putting that with the fact Brown told Barker he would play early just seems to me this staff isn’t sold on PT right now! IMO

Drew Barker is a great QB with many talents, however he doesnt spark my imagination like Victor Oladeepa did when I was recruiting him. We knew what Olidapo could do..It is a mystery with your quarterback b/c UK fans dont really know who the hell he is…Indiana football will rise, and rise with passion and fury over the coming years..Just like Indiana basketball, IU football is one of the greatest traditions in this great nation…Not many teams can play at the level that IU soccer plays..God bless this University..Excuse me, Im getting my haircut right now, Ill have to chat with you a lil later. Ive been thinking about you alot tho..
Creepy. Look like a bunch of teenagers. We would’ve had plenty of QBs had he not committed. Now if Andrew Wiggins would commit, that would be worthy of a celebration like this. Spurrier is probably laughing his butt off at this coaching staff if he sees this. Embarrassing.
28- Its not the coaching staffs job to automatically have faith in PT. Its Towels’ job to prove to them he can get the job done and apparently hes not doing that. Even though he was a freshmen last year and Smith got hurt, he still couldnt prove to the old coaching staff that he absolutely deserved the job over Whitlow.
30- So what if they are excited. And how much do u think Spurrier is laughing considering UK beat him out for this kid
