UK Baseball hosts Louisville tonight, Stoops to throw the first heater

The University of Louisville is having quite a year in athletics, but the Wildcats can complete the series sweep of the baseball Cardinals tonight on the diamond. No. 17 Kentucky hosts the eighth-ranked Dirty Birds tonight at 6:30 p.m. at Cliff Hagan Stadium.

If watching Louisville lose isn’t enough and you need another reason to make it out to Hagan tonight, Mark Stoops will throw out the ceremonial first pitch before the game. Stoops, coming off one of the biggest weekends of his life, will hopefully deliver the stinky cheese and avoid a John Wall-like moment.

The game will be televised on the UK IMG Network with Ryan Lemond providing commentary from the sidelines.
