Here is the official UK release concerning the alumni game which will feature the 2010 team vs. the 2012 National Championship team:

On Monday, Sept. 9, the Big Blue Nation will have an opportunity to enjoy some of the top talent to come through the UK men’s basketball program since the 2009-10 season when Kentucky hosts the 2013 UK Alumni Charity Game at Rupp Arena.

Set to tip off Monday night at 8 p.m. ET, the game will only feature Wildcats currently or formerly playing professionally. Members of all four of UK’s John Calipari-coached teams (2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013) will participate in the Alumni event.  Per NBA rules, the University of Kentucky cannot confirm individual players participating in the exhibition game.

Ticket information and additional game details will be released at a later date.

We’ve known about it for a while, but the press release makes it official. Clear your calendar if you haven’t done so already!

UPDATE: A UK spokesman says the tip-off has been moved up to 7 p.m. since it’s a school night.
