Tymere Dubose Commits to Kentucky

Stoops isn’t done yet today, apparently. Shortly after hearing of Darryl Long’s commitment to Kentucky, DE Tymere Dubose decided he wanted to come on down too. According to Justin Rowland of Rivals, Dubose (who is from Ohio) has chosen Kentucky over Michigan State, West Virginia, Arkansas, and Maryland. At 6’6″ and 260 lbs, Dubose will be a force to be reckoned with on the defensive line.
Yeah, that Ohio pipeline Stoops keeps talking about? It’s real. And it’s happening. STOOOOOOOOPS.

Three stars, had offers from Arkansas, Michigan State, and WVU.
Good pick up!
huge difference in recruiting, just look at the other offers, before we were competing against western KY and central michigan, now we beat out west virginia and michigan state….huge difference
Keep it up Coach! CATS
Wow, this is crazy, and he is a monster DE…
More like 6’6″ 2-devistating. Welcome to Kentucky!
Very happy with this coaching staff on the recruiting trail. In about 3 years I expect us to be a threat for the SEC East title. I also think that Stoops will pull 1 or 2 huge upsets in the SEC this year.

STOOOOOOOOOOOOPS to CONQUER!
Although I’m very happy with the offensive skill position commits, the ones I look forward to the most anymore is the Defensive commitments and O-Line commitments. They speak VOLUMES to what this staff is doing. I’m really looking forward to seeing what Stoops/Brown/Marrow ‘n Crew can do with the team this year and beyond. Go Cats!
6. I agree. With the level of excitement currently around the program all of Kentucky’s opponents are at risk. There may be no way of knowing, but if this excitement has been and continues to be as infectious to players as to fans then Kentucky will be a very dangerous opponent. Personally I’m not looking for a specific W vs. L record or even specific wins, I just want to see the team improve week in and week out while the collective enthusiasm and motivation grow–a mentality that all things are possible when the belief is there. GO STOOPS!! GO CALIPARI!!! GO MITCHELL!! GO BARNHART!! GO BBN!! and most of all GO CATS!! now would be a good time to cue up the fight song beginning and ending with AIR RAID sirens!
Our foundation is being built of stone, thanks stoops.
Keep the momentum going.
3 star players from Ohio are often better than 4 stars from some of the other states because of the high level of competition. Much like FL. Welcome Mr. Dubose.
Stoops is building an excellent foundation at UK! Love what he has done so far! It kind of sucks that we always have one of the toughest schedules in the nation but that is just the card we are dealt! Go Cats!
One thing worth noting is that he has only been playing football for a short amount of time; much like ZaDarius Smith. I look for him to be re-evaluated during his senior season and be a four star. We are going to be STACKED with DEs. Now we need to get some more guys on the interior like Elam.
#15 Young guys like this that are already 265 lbs on a 6’6″ frame are prime candidates to make the move inside when they get to college
Damn I am getting pumped for football. I look forward to the day the basketball is second fiddle.
