It appears that the speculation regarding Terrence Jones’ college destination (Rivals is updating his scouting report with “needs to improve decision-making) has now been surpassed — at least in the short term at my anti-Wildcat office — by the report from The Good Doctor saying UK had the lowest GPA in the SEC. I won’t get too much into my thoughts on that because I can’t promise that I’d use nice language or leave without any insults or shots at my fanhood, but I will say that it is important to keep things in perspective. After all, this was the SEC Scholar of the Year. Ray Shipman, whose yearbook would read Florida Gator (1,2), SEC Scholar of the Year (2), lover of poontang (always). What does this say about the GPA rankings? Who cares? I’ve just been waiting to finally have a reason to link this story.
Also, on an unrelated note, John Wall has signed with Dan Fegan, who, as evidenced by a couple of Google searches, has no known connections to Worldwide Wes of LeBron James. Interesting. However, he does represent Shawn Marion, Erick Dampier, Howard Eisley and Troy Murphy, which means, at some point, he will be untradeable on NBA Live.
