Trey Lyles’ father confirms he will visit for Big Blue Madness

Trey-Lyles

Yesterday, we found out it was very likely that Trey Lyles would visit for Big Blue Madness, and now, his father has confirmed that to the Herald Leader’s Ben Roberts. The elder Lyles says that Trey will take an official visit to UK on October 18th, and an official visit to UofL on August 31, and the family is still working on possible visits to Florida and Butler, the other two schools on Lyles’ list. Kentucky is considered the frontrunner for his services.

Stanley Johnson, Emmanuel Mudiay, and Devin Booker have already confirmed they will visit for the big event, and James Blackmon Jr. has said he will probably visit as well. Kelly Oubre and Rashad Vaughn have also discussed coming that weekend (thanks cracka).

If you didn’t check out my profile of Lyles yesterday, give it a click to learn more about the talented power forward.

2.) Because it is deciding where they will market themselves for a season. It pays big dividends going to a big school that can create a brand for themselves. Just ask Quincy Miller, Shabazz, and CJ Leslie. The hype leading up to the announcement is part of the process. So take your bottled coke and hard candy and go back in time to the good old days. We do not need your negativity here in 2013.

Trey could be the 2nd piece to a national championship puzzle. I mean Karl and Trey could be one of the most dynamic front courts in all of basketball. I hope he picks UK over Loserville but you never know until it’s in ink. Just ask TOM Crean. #2 get a life and quit hating!
