Kentucky Sports Radio

University of Kentucky Basketball, Football, and Recruiting news brought to you in the most ridiculous manner possible.

I spent this evening attending one of the more fun games I have seen in many years as Transylvania University (my alma mater) defeated the evil team from Bethany College to move to the round of 32 in the NCAA Division III Tournament. It was a great time in the Beck Center tonight, as many Kentucky Sports Radio posters ranging from me to Gabe to the Turkey Hunter to Hubert to Vince Bingham all showed up at the Beck Center and rooted the Pioneers to a victory. Division III basketball takes some getting used to (when I was at Transy they were NAIA) but the guys play for the love of the game and the student body is great.

Tomorrow night they play Wooster for a spot in the Sweet 16 and we will once again be there to give the KSR Radio flavor. If you are a basketball fan and not just a fan of one-on-one achievement, I suggest you make a trip to see the game. Teams playing for the love of it, goofy fans, bad referees and a heck of a lot of fun are the trademarks of all the games. And if you see me, wave me down as I am would certainly like to meet you.

Go Pioneers!!!
