Man it’s good to see the Coaches and families enjoying this Trophy. I hope Calipari went home and danced in his underwear like Tom Cruise!!!

Cal’s wife looks strikingly similar to Spock’s sister off of Star Trek.

I don’t know if these pictures are a good thing or a bad thing. I mean how embarrassing that our National Championship trophy, Cal, Ellen, and Coaches are doing these meet & greats in a F’ing Parking lot !!

Sad you can’t track buses online like you can airplanes.

Nice selection, the good ol’ Kroger lot in Ashland. A cluster touch on a normal day in Heaven on the Ohio.

Might have been more people there had the local paper listed the correct time, e.g. 12:00 pm v. 1:00 pm.

Cal marching around the state like the president, and rightfully so!!!! He now owns Kentucky, the way he respects the tradition and the fans, the way he loves the program and the kids. He truly GETS IT!!!!

Two things stand out, Orlando Antigua seem sto be very happy at uk. He is huge and can not be replaced on the recruiting trail. He needs to stay at uk, and as ad mitch you cannot let this happen.

And cals wife, just how cool is that.

Coach O needs to be made “Coach in waiting”. He seems to get it just like Calipari. He loves the UK atmosphere. He is great on the recruiting trail. And he is an assistant coach rising through the ranks. I feel like he would be a great HC here once Calipari’s 10 years or whatever he said are up.

i hate coaches in waiting. let him go get his feet wet elsewhere and if he succeeds then he’ll always want to come back at the right time, if he fails then we didn’t have to learn the hard way.

Best part of this event was at the very end. The bus was about about to
pull out and head to Pikeville when it stopped, out came Cal running over
to hug and get some pictures taken with an ederly mentally disable gentleman who
had just arrived. Just shows what a great guy Cal truly is.
I would say there were between 300 to 500 people there tops, but
like a previous commentor stated that was probably due to the wrong times being
    reported in the local paper.

I bet Cal and his wife have some much needed alone time tonight in the hotel. With all the traveling, interviews, recruiting, film time, etc. Cal prbably only has time for scheduled by appointment only quickies.

This is so great…I love the old schoolness of it all and thank you coach cal, staff and family for taking time to do something so cool. It means so much to these people and I am very touched by it all.

Question….honestly, and i dont know, would Pitino do something like this if Louisville had one?

Go Cats!! Thanks matt and KSR for posting photos!

Highlight of the day (besides the obvious trophy, coach cal, etc) was a fan asking Matt Jones why he got to ride in the luxury bus with the trophy but Jerry Tipton had to drive himself. I look at that as a victory for KSR and UK fans everywhere
