Tony Wroten is clearly going to be one of those guys that if he comes to Lexington, he is going to be loved by the fanbase. And if he chooses to go somewhere else, he could have a Joakim Noah like hatred towards him. Because this guy is truly as confident about his skilzzzz as anybody in the 2011 class. Today, Wroten tweeted out:
#ToBeHonest. If I’m not top 5 in the country then there shouldn’t b any rankings. Not being coccky just telling y’all how I feel.
Overlooking the BTI-esque grammar and spelling in this post (seriously, is it too difficult to put the “e” in the word “be”), Wroten is making a stand about his ranking nationally.
Currently, Wroten is ranked the #19 player by Scout.com, #26 by Rivals.com, and #24 by ESPN. So, I am not so sure, even with a good summer, that Wroten is looking at Top 5. But, if he does choose to come to Kentucky, maybe that will just give him extra confidence to prove all the experts wrong.
