Just as YouTube made a star out of Kige Ramsey and MySpace made a whore out of Tila Tequila, Twitter is giving the world a new breed of online superstars. In the world of high school recruiting, no one has seized social media and made it his own quite like Seattle point guard Tony Wroten, whose name is past tense in Tennessee for “Tony Writes”. Wroten tells the Courier-Journal’s Jody Demling that he likes having fun with Kentucky fans on Twitter and that UK hasn’t even offered him yet, though he includes them at “50-50” with all the other teams on his list. Of course, he goes and mentions “Peyton Siva” and “best friend” in the same sentences, so….not sure how Saturday’s Twitter interaction is going to shake out.
Anyway, here’s Wroten’s answer to the question you’ve all been dying to know.
