Are you still recovering from all that football talk yesterday? With the season just 10 days away, 10 DAYS, I can’t get enough. The KSR boys had five interviews with six players/staff on Tuesday and there is a lot to digest and talk about today.
But it wasn’t all UK news on Tuesday. Texas A&M and former UK assistant Bradley Dale Peveto will be the talk of national radio today. We’ll learn more about Ohio State and Urban Meyer’s fate (maybe).
UK starts class today and there’s plenty to discuss. Let’s talk about it.
Let’s get to it!
KSR is back in Studio:
If you missed the normal shenanigans from Matt Jones and the crew, things return to normal today. The callers, the randomness and plenty of sports talk will all be back today. For those craving football talk, yesterday was your Super Bowl but today should be filled with reaction from interviews with Stoops, Freddie, Benny, C.J. and Kash.
If you want to listen to yesterday’s interviews to prepare you for today, here you go.
Texas A&M is in trouble:
In the last couple months Ohio State and Maryland have had to answer for coaching staff blunders, but next up is Jimbo Fisher and the Texas A&M Aggies. Dan Wolken of USA Today broke the news after a transfer spilled the beans of payment to players (with intent to entertain recruits), illegal practices, and mistreatment of players. The bigger concern here is that the NCAA has a rule in place for transfers to become immediately eligible if they snitch.
We’ll learn more about Ohio State:
We may not get a final decision on Urban Meyer, but around 9 a.m. this morning there will be a public board of trustee meeting at Ohio State to discuss their investigation. Although there’s no guarantee a final decision will be made on Meyer, there have been plenty of reports that the board will suggest suspending Meyer.
Classes start at UK:
Back to school, back to school. UK starts classes today, and if you’re a student enjoy it. College goes by in the blink of an eye and if you’re at UK you’re attending one of the best and most fun colleges in the world, although I’m a little biased. School can be frustrating and overwhelming at times but it beats the real world. Trust me. Have fun, kiddos!
UK basketball players are back on campus:
Most players have been sprinkling in over the last few days, but all should be in Lexington for school today. UK will have restrictions on workouts and practices, but they get back to the grind after a short vacation after the Bahamas (which was really just another vacation if you think about it). Reid Travis starts school again! Unlike his teammates, he didn’t take any classes over the summer. With how much that dude loves school he’s probably thrilled.
A new episode of Hardly Committed drops today. Hey, that’s my podcast! We’ll have Barstool’s Bobby Reagan. He’s all about the Cats, basketball recruiting and the NBA, so you won’t want to miss it. Last week we had Evan Daniels, so hopefully you’ve been listening. If you missed last week’s episode click HERE.

Even dogs watch film:
This good girl, Kirk, went bonkers watching herself on the big screen. She’s a Pro Challenge Champion and while she obviously is thrilled with her routine, I’ve been told she knows there’s a few things she could work on to become even better. Still, she’s a good girl and deserves a treat.
