Tim Masthay: Quarterback

In case you missed it last night, UK’s own Tim Masthay, current Green Bay punter, tossed a touchdown in the Packers’ 23-10 victory over the Chicago Bears.  Somewhere, Rashawn Franklin is sad that the Bears lost, but silently proud that Tim Masthay rang the death knell.  The only thing that could have made this better is if Randall Cobb was on the receiving end.  And then they went out and had pancakes to celebrate and posted pictures on Instagram.

Check out the pass for yourself in all its wonder and glory:

And again from a different angle, where you can see the pass a little better:

Masthay finished the game with a quarterback rating of 158.3 on 1/1, and had three of his five punts land inside the twenty yard line.

Masthay for MVP.

Joker Phillips is an insult to the Unicersity of Kentucky. The fact this game Saturday vs Eku is even supposed to be a close is evidence of the terrible job he has done since captaining an already smooth sailing ship. If we lose to another in-state team bitch marnhart will have to do us all a favor and fire his f***** a**.. Cause a loser’s a loser.

That is weird that a punter was the holder because the holder is usually the QB or the backup QB.

First. Corey Nichols, you’re an idiot; the Packers won. Second, #4, you’re an idiot. We play WKU this weekend. And you spelled University wrong.

    6) The PK holder is just as often the punter.

6 – I disagree with most of your statement, especially part where it says we play EKU Saturday (Western Kentucky oddly enough goes by WKU. I do concede, in regards to your closing statement, that you apparently have first hand knowledge of all the traits that make one a loser.

Oh an Corey, I usually feel you get alot of undeserved grief on this site, but the fact Chicago had less points than Green Bay is typically a tell tale sign they did not win the game. Pretty much botched that one.

    RYNO,

Only in Madden. These days the backup QB doesn’t practice with the special teams. Furthermore, the punter already works with the long snapper. Now if your punter can’t do it, then you need somebody like Cobb.

hAhA cOreY sUCK$ at Writing!!1! i cant beleive he amde a mistake! hahaha omg!!!!

Get a life people. Every writer on this site is more capable of putting together posts than any commenter (including myself) ever could. Lighten up and enjoy what they have to say. You don’t have to agree with everything; but you also don’t have to project your own ignorance on everyone else by catching every mistake that is made. Why does a group like UK fans, who have so much to be proud of, find so much joy out of ridiculing writers of a FAN SITE. They are fans just like us. Plain and simple. If you don’t like the writing, don’t read the content.
