Tickets available Friday for the Alumni Game

This is a public service announcement. Per and UK Athletics, tickets are available for the 2013 UK Alumni Charity Game as of Friday, August 9th at 10AM. Prices range from $5 (upper level) to $50 (premium lower level), and there is an eight ticket limit per person. Tickets can only be purchased via Ticketmaster for the Sept. 9th event, and proceeds will go to charity. According to NBA rules, no one can officially say who will be in Lexington for the game, but all signs point to it being a showdown between players from the 2010 and 2012 teams.

Get them while you can, not everyday we get to watch Boogie and AD mix it up at Rupp.

Listening to Wednesday’s show with Jennifer and Jeremy. They let these callers talk for 10 minute segments. Jeez. Old people are funny.

How damn sweet is this? Getting to enjoy former players that are relevant factors in the pennacle of their proffession representing UK at Rupp! My old butt will be there standing and yelling.

Heard the $50 is below the rail. The rest of the lower level is $20. I’m in!

If they go hard, will this put to rest of who the best team was? I like the 2012 team because they have the shooting, but also thought the 2010 team definitely underachieved.

well the 2010 team is a little more seasoned and mature. I believe they will probably win the alumni game, but I dont think they were a better group than the 2012 squad. The 12 squad was great defensively, had a shut down defender in the paint and perimeter, had shooters and slashers, and most of all- great chemistry.

I wish they would tell all the real truth about where the money is going. Who do you think is paying for the players to come back??

Heard the NBA gets all the financials after the event and the players aren’t allowed to be paid, only expenses per NBA rule. Crazy but true
