Today’s the day, folks. We’ve waited a lifetime for it.
At roughly 12:15 ET, Andrew Wiggins will announce his decision in a private ceremony in Huntington, West Virginia. Grant Traylor will then put the decision on the internet and all hell will break loose shortly after that. And Kentucky Sports Radio will be on the air for it.
But before the news break in today’s special third hour of KSR, Matt and Ryan will call up some help to try and predict which school will win the Andrew Wiggins sweepstakes. You don’t want to miss it.

It’s finally Andrew Wiggins Day! Best case scenario, he picks Kentucky. Worse case he says we was about to pick Kentucky, until he heard some guy on the radio call him ‘Wiggy’. I think we are in a good spot since we are not expecting him to pick UK and if he picks Kentucky or not, we will still be one of the best teams next year with a great shot at winning the title. Because of that, I would not trade spots with either of the 3 schools, even though FSU and Kansas are the favorites for Wiggins at this point.
Happy Wiggin’s Day! I think today KSR will set a new record with visits and hits! I think he will come to UK.
So UK Fans… IF he doesn’t come to UK, don’t go trashing him or calling in.
If he comes to UK I will burn my fur couch and coat!
I really really hope AW picks us, but if not, at least we get to finally move on.
I don’t have a good feeling about Wiggins picking UK.. but I hope KU or UNC do not get him. Either school with Wiggins could challenge UK for the title next year.

The interesting thing about Wiggins is that if he comes to UK it changes everything but if he doesn’t come it changes nothing.

If Wiggins picks Florida St. based on his best friend going, it shows a level of maturity that reminds me of myself in Middle School when signing up for classes. So, Wiggins going to Florida St. will be comparable to signing up for middle school choir.

Mom has bought in to UK, its strictly dad v. andrew…and since his dad hasnt really been there consistently for him, I dont know how much his opinion matters. IF Andrew was like his dad, very pompus and egotistical, it would be FSU. But Andrew is more like his mom, quiet and witheld. For that reason, WIGGINS WILL BE A CAT!

I know it doesn’t look like we get him, but so many of these kids like to fake us out so the announcement is suspenseful. Plus I think Matt is trying to make us think he doesn’t feel good about our chances, but part of me suspects that he knows something and will predict UK at the last minute.
UL really does have little brother mentality. Little brothers are always trying to get the attention of their big brothers and big brothers always end up smacking them around.

Why wouldn’t AW want to come to Kentucky? I mean he would UK’s freshman class literally the best ever! You could be remembered 25 years from now when he’s retired from the NBA for how dominate his team was in college with all those freshman. This incoming class could be like the fab 5 and get documentaries created about them and everyone knows them by name. Does anyone really think that he would get any of these things at Florida State?

Louisville fans are complete idiots. They think they can win the championship after losing their floor general in Peyton Siva and a great center in Gorgui Dieng. They couldn’t be more wrong. Peyton Siva took years to learn to play at a championship pace and to learn the court vision and decision-making to make his team so good. Gorgui Dieng provided a post presence for them that was as good as any team in America. You don’t replace centers like him. Russ Smith may help them be pretty good, but they don’t have what it takes to win a national championship again.
