Three FSU recruits to keep an eye on

Several incoming defensive players for Florida State reacted to the hiring of Mark Stoops this afternoon on Twitter. Will the departure of the defensive coordinator that made the Florida State defense what it is today, change the decision of these future Seminoles? Will they consider following Stoops to Kentucky, a la John Wall and company following John Calipari from Memphis to the Bluegrass?
**********
Outside Linebacker Freddie Stevenson
A four-star linebacker out of Bartlow High School in Bartlow, Florida. At 6-foot-1 and 220 pounds, Stevenson is built for speed — which his 4.54 40-yard dash indicates. Stevenson is ranked the No. 23 linebacker in the 2013 class and the No. 47 prospect in the state of Florida.
He had a long list of offers, most notably from Cincinnati, Louisville, Memphis, Ole Miss, NC State, Purdue, Penn State, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt and Kentucky.
Stevenson shared his thoughts on the situation on Twitter.
coach stoops leavin the boys…dang

But he added that he is still 100 percent committed to Florida State.
still 100% nole

Defensive End Davin Bellamey
A three-star weakside defensive end from Chamblee, Georgia. Bellamy is ranked the No. 30 defensive end in the class.
He had a long list of high-profile offers, including Arkansas, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, Mississippi State, Missouri, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Virginia and Kentucky.
Bellamy seems committed to Florida State, so long as the head coaches and other special unit coaches remain in place. Time will tell if other FSU coaches follow Stoops’ suit.
@watson_lance As long as Coach Craig, Jimbo & Elliot is there im cool.

Cornerback Marquez White
A three-star recruit from Dothan, Alabama. White is the No. 34 cornerback in the 2013 class and had offers from Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, among others, and had a slight interest in Kentucky. But undoubtedly with better offers, the Cats didn’t get much of a look.
Marquez White joined the Twitter parade this afternoon when news was still being broke and neither UK Athletics nor FSU Athletics had confirmed the news. He was much more vague with his comments.
Coach Stoops to Kentucky……not a good look

None of those guys sound like they want to come to UK
Why do we need to keep an eye on them when obviously they seem like they are going to stay put in Talahassee?
…In other breaking news, none of these recruits will make the jump to UK!
I’d expect a post like this from Corey Nichols. Poorly played, Hammer. You’re better than this.
so in summation:
recruit 1: no.
recruit 2: no.
recruit 3: f^^^ no.
“Not a good look” is not an ambiguous statement and is in no way vague.
All responses were great. Hell from the title I thought we had some recruits Lookin at us. Nope, just guys stayin
these dudes are obviously spittin beachnut in Kentucky’s eye. Oh well, just like with the coaching search, UK will find other fish in the sea. GO CATS!!!
Am I missing something?
Hmmm… Why should we keep an eye on these recruits again?
Is anyone else old enough to remember UK football coach John Ray. He also came in as a defensive coordinator. What he really coordinated was a lot of losses and dreadful low scoring games. All I can say about this hire is BOORING! Now we have to wait through another four or so years of awful football for the next coaching hire.
Such a disappointment!
Why would you think that any of these recruits would come here just because a coordinator quit? If Jimbo Fisher came here then we may see some come aboard. That would be like if Coach O gets a head coaching job at Morehead and Noel leaving to play for them.
Wheak!
Apparently the #4 CB 5 star recruit will take a visit to UK now
This is one of the stupidest posts ever on this site….which is saying A LOT.
Sadly, I’ll likely eat these words within the week.
13. Mackenzie Alexander. UK recruited his twin brother. Mackenzie is a great player, and his brother was somewhat recruited by FSU but I believe they thought FSU was using him to try and get to Mackenzie, which Mackenzie didn’t really care for. He has committed to two schools and had about 5 different leaders so to say his recruitment is eventful would be an understatement.
We should keep an eye on these guys because…they provided more evidence than any other recruits that they won’t come here? Down is up, BTI doesn’t suck and Corey Nichols is witty.
Guys, keep an eye on all-pro safety Ed Reed, of the Baltimore Ravens. He played for Stoops at Miami and had this to say: ” I love crab cakes. Especially with Old Bay seasoning. Funyons are good to.”
Why is this even up? They seem to have no interest in coming to UK. Could’ve thrown in something that has more to do with UK than 3 FSU commits who don’t seem to give a flip about UK. Just Sayin…..
Eye here……Eye gone.
Heard from an FSU source fairly close to Stoops that Elliot will be on a short list for DC. He also said James Coley would jump at the chance to be the REAL OC at Kentucky.
What a dumbass!A KSR writer decides to write this article saying to watch guys that already committed to FSU. THATS stupid… aint no one already committed to FSU gonna leave…. you need to go look at the Top 200, all the undecideds from the florida area that FSU was a favorite for and also that were recruited by stoops or coley or anyone outside of Jimbo Fisher. Those are the guys to watch… not jim bob the 4 star DE that already committed…
Here… I will do your job for you:
Those players are as follows:
Jermaine Grace (LB) 6’1-196lbs
Tarean Folstow (RB) 5’10-220lbs
Taj Williams (WR) 6’4-175lbs
Will Likely (DB) 5’7-172lbs
Tony Stevens (WR) 6’3-175lbs
Alex Collins (RB) 5’11-207lbs
***Jaynard Bostwick (DT) 6’5-290lbs
***Denver Kirkland (OL) 6’6-333lbs
All in top 300, All 4 Star Athletes- and Bostwick and Kirkland were very vey big on Coley.
#21- Thank you for giving us info that this post should have included!
We welcome G-Unit as the next KSR writer! lol
