Kentucky Sports Radio

University of Kentucky Basketball, Football, and Recruiting news brought to you in the most ridiculous manner possible.

This is going to be fun…

Ladies and gentlemen of KSR nation, I need your thoughts, ideas, suggestions, and, most importantly, your prayers.  Tomorrow morning I will be invading the NCAA offices in Indianapolis for KSTV.  Just me, a cameraman, and a mission for justice.  My goal is for a sit-down television interview with NCAA President Mark Emmert, and if that goal is not met, I will preach the gospel to anyone who will listen.

I plan to peruse the hallways of the NCAA offices searching for anyone who had a hand in the Enes Kanter decision.  If asked to leave the premises, I will continue to fight the good fight on the public sidewalk.  Though our Enes will never be freed, we still need closure so that our Enes may rest on the bench in peace for the remainder of this season.

Please share any ideas and suggestions for my journey.  Comment here or e-mail me at [email protected].  I need a bullhorn so if you’re in the Lexington or Louisville area and can make that happen, let me know.  I’d also like to have a fog machine but that’s not a necessity.

I’m coming for you, Emmert.  Your interview with Seth Davis was not enough for Big Blue Nation.  We want you to say it to our faces.

#FreeEnes

while noble in your efforts, you will be asked to leave, you will be made to leave, and then you will be removed from the sidewalk due to some obscure Indy license you would need for such a protest.
My advise, do you homework before you set out on something like this and have back up and know the laws etc, it actually makes them much more fun and much more productive.

ehhh, while I admire the attitude… if you’re truly serious about trying this nothing good will come of it. It sucks that Enes can’t play. True. But running around making a clown out of yourself because we’re upset over a ruling will just make UK fans look like goons and give fans a bad name. If something could be accomplished by this, then it’d be different. But ultimately you’ll get no interview, and simply be thrown out. And it’ll be made public by someone that some pissed off UK fan ran around the NCAA offices demanding answers or something.

Exceptions were made to the rules for all of them but not Enes. Each of them violated NCAA rules! I’m also curious why Ohio St. did’n have to forfeit games that ineligible players played in? Why has a decision never been made in the Maggette case? Duke should have been punished (forfeit games, vacate final 4) just as Memphis was. Inconsistency is the problem with the NCAA!

Since you are now a (moderatly creditable) media outlet why don’t you do what all other professional media spokes persons due and call before you arrive, or set up an interview?

If that doesn’t work then why don’t you try the old hidden camera trick? You might actually get past the front door. Hope you have someone to bail you out of jail.

Just follow the money! It would be interesting to determine if there were any type of money trail from Euro or Turkey professional basketball to anyone connected to the ncaa.

Don’t charge in there asking about Enes or at least being overtly obvious about it. Talk about other subjects like Josh Selby or Maggette, let their responses lead you to the topic of Enes. Oh, and be prepared to be escorted out by security if you get in at all.
