Third episode of All-Access will be the last

We better enjoy tomorrow night’s episode of All-Access, because it will apparently be the last. According to the good doctor Jerry Tipton, ESPN says that the third episode of All-Access: Kentucky will conclude the series.

In case you missed the news earlier, it will air Thursday night at 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2 due to production delays because of Hurricane Sandy. The second episode of the series will air immediately before. Yes, unfortunately this means it will be on at the same time as the Kentucky/Northwood exhibition game, which means if you’re on the live blog, no spoilers, please. ESPN2 will re-air all three episodes on Sunday from 4:30-6:00 p.m. ET.

You can also see Episode 1 and Episode 2 on YouTube.

We’ll always have this…

didn’t we already know this? I remember when the series was announced it was announced as a 3-part series. Why does this seem to be news?

When the series started, there was a possibility ESPN would order more episodes based on how it did in the ratings and if Cal and the program were cool with continuing it. Not sure what the deciding factor was in stopping it at three.

There were talks of filming additional episodes. I guess they (or Coach Cal) decided not to.

I thought it was a four week series originally. I guess not.

I guess Billy D. whined enough so they had to stop it.

In episode 2 at Tin roof couldn’t they of found someone better to interview than a guy wearing a MN Vickings hat?

Is this the second thing that we can openly criticize Cal for? The “this is the best day in this programs history” comment and now cancelling this series. The former, I tend to agree with him and the latter I utterly disagree with him!

espn is just dumb for running episodes 2 and 3 during uk games! are you serious? did they want good ratings?

#11, we don’t have a reason to criticize Cal at all. If given a choice I would much rather see your fat, lazy a$$ be criticized. UK can get along quite well w/o you.

It’s only right that Jerry Tipton reported this.

Both episodes are on YouTube if you just search for ESPN All Access Kentucky. Watched both episodes from my home in Dubai!

I’ll have the third episode up a few hours after it airs, just keep an eye on my channel for it. I’ll be working with BWO to get all the games up on youtube as quickly as possible after they air as well.
