Why is there a gap between banners?
Big moment in UK history…and a lot of us were there to see it!!!
There is a gap because it had to be unrolled mechanically. All the others are in a permanent position. They will move it next to the others.

As a younger man, I took 96′ 98′ for granted and assumed we’d win a title every few years……what a fine sight that 2012 banner is and makes be want to be a better person so I can appreciate titles when we win them. I told my 9 year old to enjoy this and don’t take winning titles for granted. ENJOY THIS MOMENT BBN!!!
7 – That’s actually what’s really great about all this. For me it is sinking in just a little more each day, each hour. It’s over but there’s still so much more to take in and enjoy. It’s just awesome. This season was beyond magical. Great time to be part of the BBN!!!
To unveil a banner to start and end the season, how awesome is that?
Is it me or does the new banner look a little taller than the others? I feel like 7 I still cannot quite believe it yet either it has been soooo loonnggg. It is so absolutely phenomenal as the newspaper headline stated.

Was there. Showed up and no tickets were available. Nice gentleman walked up to me and gave 3 tickets to me and my kids. He wouldn’t take a dime for them. Hope karma finds that guy.

11. The unrolling mechanism hangs from the front of the catwalk, and the other banners hand from the back, so in addition to be lower, this is currently a few feet closer to the camera. It was the same thing when they unveiled the Final Four banner at Big Blue Madness. It will look fine when it’s put in line. In fact, I assume they’ll have to rehang all of the banners to keep everything centered.
#20 – That banner was only temporary. They are making the real one and that one is alrady taken down. I was in Rupp this morning and it was gone! The new “real” one will look just like the others.
I was dying with anticipation to see what was coming next as I scrolled down…Turns out they hung a banner.
I dont understand, Coach Cal keeps saying we only hang banners for championships. Clearly there is a final four banner right next to it.
The banner is the same size, but the font for the “Champions” is a bit smaller than the rest.
I’m weird though and look at that kinda stuff.
