First it was Hal Mumme and now, it’s Tommy Tuberville. Auburn dismissed Tuberville this evening after a decade at the school. His career record was 85-40, including a perfect 2004 that landed the Tigers at #2 in the country, but things took a turn for the worst this season when Tuberville tried to install a spread offense under the tutelage of former UK offensive coordinator Tony Franklin. The clamoring for a dismissal started after a poopy 3-2 win over Mississipi State, but hit its high after a 36-0 beating at the hands of rival Alabama in the Iron Bowl.
I heard some Fulmer guy is available.
