The Sunday Morning Links Now With Wheelchair Rushing

In life sometimes you want something so bad you’d do anything to attain it. For the man above his goal was to join in on rushing the court with no regard to his safety or an escape route. For you I’m assuming you woke up wanting the Sunday morning links just as badly. Well lucky for you getting the links does not involve getting surrounded by hundreds of people with limited mobility, I gladly offer them up as a service to the citizens of Big Blue Nation:

-In case you feel the need to relive the game from yesterday you can with the AP’s recap of the game. Elston Turner etched his name in the Rupp Arena history books with a performance you just have to tip your hat to.

There was nothing Kentucky could do to stop Turner as the Texas A&M guard had his way with three different defenders. Luckily at the start of the second half he didn’t get many looks or he could have easily went for 50.

Texas A&M couldn’t really stop our man Nerlens either as the center flirted with a quadruple double when he finished with 15 points, 11 boards, 7 blocks, and 6 assists. Oh and 100% effort.

It isn’t time to hit the panic button yet but Kentucky really can’t afford any more bad losses. Only Florida and Missouri offer a chance for a good win right now and perhaps Ole Miss will join that list as well. Either way out young team needs to figure things out fast.

-The news wasn’t all bad yesterday as Stoops managed to land yet another commit from Ohio. Kyle Meadows is an O-Lineman who choose the Cats over Louisville, WVU and Oklahoma. A very solid recruiting list win.

-While the Men’s team continues to try and figure things out the Women have been tearing it up all season long. Today the sixth ranked ladies pit their record 14 game winning streak against Missouri’s perfect home record. The irresistible force meets the immovable object today at 1:30 in Columbia.

I am SO disappointed. It hurts.

We’re just not very good this year. It’s been a long time but we have to accept it. Let’s keep cheering on these guys anyways and hope for the best. UK is still UK. We’ll be back soon enough.

Wiltjer probably couldn’t even guard the guy in the wheelchair

Thanks Andrew for helping me cash in my ticket to hell as I laughed. If you notice at the end of the gif the wheelchair is on the verge of tipping over

Spot on #2. We should count our blessings. We have great things going on with the women’s team and our football team. We have to accepts that the men’s team is what it is. Not very good. That being said, the future is bright, but I feel bad for Coach Cal and Nerlins Noel.

Has it become a requirement for all male KSR writers to blindlink Tipton?
Sad that KSR promotes him as much as anyone. At least give us a heads up
so we have a choice to click or not, or is that asking too much in this big brother society
where the decisions are made for us?

What kind of “friend” wheels a guy straight out into the middle of an all out sports riot haha.

A friend that says “Okay…” when the guy who needs a wheelchair says ” I want to rush the court at least once”.

I never have been so embarrassed to be a UK fan in my life and it’s not because of the team — it’s because of the fans. I hope our players know that most of us sane fans have their back even though times are somewhat rough. Hang in there guys and keep trying to get better. Plenty of games left to be played.

seriously, the WHOLE team and staff MAY need to get laid just to bring life back into focus. it works for me.

Poythress reminds me of Randolph Morris. He just doesn’t give a rats ass about the team. He need to transfer
    and so does Wiltjer.

Oh and if a a guy hangs 20+ on my team in the first half I’m double teaming him…coaching 101.

Let the trolls laugh at our down year. We can laugh at the fact that we’ve won more NC in the last year than they have in the last 25. And since their last NC, we’ve won 3. And we have more total wins, as well as more wins over their programs, seeing as tho 99.9% of the trolls are UofL and IU fans. Enjoy the season, trolls, bc even you know this year is all you’ll have for a while.

sometimes we’ll probably get a group of freshmen who just don’t gel like everyone would hope. it’s hard to maintain our program at a level we’ve been accustomed to the last 3 years. some guys are just more coachable than others. it doesn’t mean they don’t care or aren’t trying. they all want to play great

    21) its ok to speak the truth or voice your opinion, but bashing a kid

    11. jim tom. I don’t think aaron (tipton’s love child) got straightened out on blind links to tipturd.. He’s is still the worst and does it almost daily (i stopped even reading his page), but all the other writers seem to be following suit (except for the ladies). Bless you TT and KG!

Dummy. If you want to quote batman, do it correctly. It’s an unstoppable force, not irresistible. You idiots lose all credibility when you try to post something semi-funny and completely misquote the origin. SMH.

Only trolls attack the fans. This team is just not that good right now. If the players aren’t men enough to hear that from the fans, they shouldn’t have come to Kentucky.

You know I’m disappointed we are struggling this year, but I’m not mad. It happens every team goes through it, now its our turn.Cal spoiled us with the past 3 yrs, sure he is as disappointed as the rest of us are, but it will be OK. As far as the trolls on here, you know what they say karma is a bit**, so they will get it back, just wait!!!(I see you UL& IU people on here, its coming you can bet that),UL its coming big time in football, watch out!

I dont care that we arent that good right now. I still think we can beat anyone in the country if we play well. Im having fun with this season. People, we cant be a top 5 team every year, not realistic. Be happy we are at least decent. Every game we play is a close one. Maybe its a little frustrating but its fun, nonetheless. Enjoy it, its still a fun team to watch.

Wooooo hooooo that was a freakin rush. I’m fine guys just messed my hair up alittle. But don’t worry guys I’m not gonna go overboard and make a ring to commerate the win or set up a Christmas light display and they better not put me rushing on any popcorn bags or cups. Well guys I’m off to go skydiving and cliff jumping Yeeeeahh

#23 I agree, I said it was defense 101 in an earlier post. You double the guy, and make him give the ball up, every time! The one time Noel ran out to double him, he gave the ball up, but when he got it back, there was no double team?

Well…what’s the worst that can happen when a dude in a wheelchair rushes the court? It’s not like he can get paralyzed AGAIN.
