Has anyone else noticed that when Ryan is optimistic about Kentucky’s chances in a game we lose, and when he’s pessimistic we win? I think that’s an interesting trend, but could be bad since after beating Florida, Ryan will probably become optimistic again heading into the SEC Tournament. Also can someone tell Oscar he needs to go back to the green egg on Twitter?

The fans at rupp should continue this 8 minute cheering thing at the end of EVERY game. That would be our “thing”. As “storied” as Rupp is, the crowds usually are terrible. Imagine the psychological effect it would have on other teams knowing that the “8 minutes of he||” are coming!!

Although winning a couple SEC Tournament games would be great for our tourney chances, I believe we really need to pull for Mizzou to beat Ole Miss. Looking at our risk exposure, losing to Mizzou would hurt a lot less than losing to Ole Miss.

J-Load’s first play from scrimmage was a 54 yard scamper against the Tards at Papa John’s. I think that was the first game played in that stadium. I was there and it was hot as heck.

  53. blueneck
    10:59 am March 11, 2013 Permalink

I believe it went for like 54 yards. Everyone went deep and to the outside. The whole middle of the field was open and then he started juking DBs who were bracing for a head-on collision.

  54. CatBlue in LR
    10:59 am March 11, 2013 Permalink

Jason Peters was the Arkansas tight end. They converted him to a tackle in the league. I don’t think Matt Jones started in the slot. Houston Nutt had this thing one year where he started another quarterback for one series and then brought in Jones for the rest of the game. Did that every game that one year. Maybe that is what Jared is remembering.
