The offensive line has to stay healthy

There are plenty of concerns with this year’s UK football team, but none greater than the depth of the offensive line. Last week, offensive coordinator Randy Sanders said, “I would like to have about four more guys that you really feel good about. The first group, I feel very good about. Second group, I’m sure my daughters are nervous about a little bit.”

Today, Sanders talked about the importance of keeping that first group healthy.

”If this group suffered injuries like last year, I’d be scared to death,” Sanders told reporters.

That’s our cue to knock on every piece of wood in sight.

Rashawn will be here shortly with more from today’s practice. Until then, Go Cats.

Even if what Sanders is saying is true, why the hell would he say something like that right before the season starts. Don’t tell all of the teams you are going to have to play your weaknesses.
