Well I can’t decide who is having a worse morning, the gentleman above or our Kentucky Wildcats football team. Both should be waking up feeling violated and disgraced. At least the guy above probably didn’t have that happen to him in his own house. He had to go on the road to get embarrassed. Well hopefully some Sunday morning links will help to ease the pain of last night’s loss:
-In case you want to relive the tragedy here are some recaps of the game: The AP breaks it down over on ESPN, then get a local look at the game from the Courier-Journal, and follow it up with a look at the win from Western’s perspective.
-John Clay takes a look at just how far the program has fallen. Joker’s seat really has gone from hot to blistering.
-One complaint often said about our team is that we often look like we are playing to not lose, rather than playing to win. Last night the players of Western wanted to win. The players convinced Willie Taggart to go with the trick play they had just installed in practice. Clearly it paid off.
-Joker gave his thoughts following the game and Kyle Tucker transcribe the whole thing.
-With losses to both Lousiville and now Western it’s hard to argue that in football we’re in a Red State. At least basketball is less than a month away…
-Speaking of basketball, the alumni gave was the highlight of the day yesterday. CoachCal.com has a photo gallery of the entire event.
-In another incredible display of generosity under the Cal era the game raised over 300,000 for charity.
-And a look from outside of sports as they have a write-up on Drake balling so hard.
