Ok, one decent effort, and now we get to hear KSR gush over Joker and how maybe his is turning things around, better days ahead, etc. This game proves one thing…we have some decent young guys that have the POTENTIAL to be good in the future. This also proves that Joker has completely wasted that talent that we have, and we need a real coach that can coach these kids to really play football…instead of Joker slowly sucking the life out of them.

When we play like this against a good team, I reflect back on games where we have sucked big time and wonder why and I keep coming back to lack of effort/quitting by everybody, coaches and players.

Oh and did anybody else want to rip their face off with their fingernails when Morgan Newton was coming in for Whitlow in the red zone? WTF????? Leave Whitlow to finish that drive and gain confidence/momentum.

Joker Phillips, 12-21 as a head coach and 4-17 in conference… yet keeping the UGA game close buys him more time?

    LOL Only at UK

    8) Yeah, that’s a slap in the face to the kid that played QB for the first 60 yards of the drive. Why would anyone question Joker Phillips though… all his decisions make perfect sense.

How do you take his question serious, Matt? Anyone who calls in and speaks like Kermit I couldn’t take serious, lol.

BECAUSE MATT, when you’re 1-7 you don’t get the moral victory card to play.

You can’t just say “Can’t be mad at Joker tonight…” Did I expect them to do worse? Yes, but at this point losing is losing. If Joker wants people to be happy then put up a W, not a close game.

Um… aren’t we 1-7 0-5… how could we possibly be 3-4 at this point? LOL

Newton was 1-6 with 4 yards passing

In what world is that not terrible?

I just want to get rid of randy Sanders and Rick Minter. Both are equally orthless. Sanders doesn’t know any other plays but 4 plays and Rick Minter has no business coaching in the sec anyways

True Matt, moral victories are better than losing 49-7

Hey Matt, the devil doesn’t need an advocate, he is pretty good at what he does. Joker is done, we have to stop mentioning the chance of him returning. In the upper deck on the visitor side there are large areas where there are absolutely ZERO human beings. It’s a matter of economics, we can’t afford to bring him back.

Yay! Can we get an asterisk for our moral victory? Oh yeah, NO. 1-7

Matt Jones AKA Howdy Doody….please…please….get a football guru with you on your post game. You are terribul Howdy Doody you know nothing about football…a total discrace…maybe 630 AM and the networks will get a clue and get rid of you….terribul…I also think it is a shame to see Ryan Lemond sell out to you and suck up to you the way he does ….he sure has fell from grace…wow!..Drew Franklin and the rest of the cronies doing writing and editorials and not getting the cash or pub they deserve because you decide to stroke your own ego and self promotion….is pitful…I only hope they wake up and smell the coffee… I haven’t seen brain numbing manipulation of people as you do since Adolph Hitler and the 3rd Reicht. Turibul!

So we lay an egg against Arkansas and you call last night a good effort by us. Flipping the coin maybe Georgia was the one laying the egg this week? Regardless, a loss is a loss. As Dale Earnhardt Sr. said ” second place is first loser “.

Prediction, if Joker gets lucky and beats anyone not named Samford the apologists will be dripping with got to give him another year BS. Hopefully only 4 more games under the Joker era at UK.

How the hell can they give Joker another year without some kind of contract extension to keep UK from being fileted on the recruiting trail? If they do, the mass migration of players from the program coupled with the lack of recruiting next year will set us back another 4 years. You think things are bad this year with some injuries, picture next year when the talent starts to slough off and we get banged up. UK will have to hustle and schedule St Mary’s School for the Quadraplegics to avoid a possible 0-fer in the win column next year.

Last night’s performance showed Joker and staff have clearly not lost the team and they have not lost the hard core group of fans who continue to show up and support the team. They appeared to have a great time watching a young team show they are learning and developing under difficult circumstances. Unlike most of the posters so far, I thought the coaches did an excellent job. The onside kick was our best chance to win the game at that point and it almost worked. Georgia was pretty much able to score at will through the air. If UK had punted, there was no way Georgia wasn’t going to score at least a field goal. Our offensive game plan worked for the most part. Morgan did what he was asked to do. I am not saying Joker should be or will be retained. I am saying haters are going to hate I guess no matter what they see on the field.
