The home opener against Miami of Ohio will also begin at noon

As if having one good day of tailgating hampered by a noon kick-off wasn’t enough to dampen your spirits, another Kentucky home game will also have a noon kick-off. The Miami of Ohio game slated for September 7th at Commonwealth Stadium will kick-off at noon as well. That game will be the home season opener for Kentucky, and it would have been nice to have a night or late afternoon game to give fans an entire day to spend tailgating. The atmosphere will surely still be great, but two back to back noon games to start the home season leaves much to be desired.

Kentucky vs. Miami of Ohio will be shown on FSN.

At least we will have a noon game the week before UL to prepare the players for playing at Noon. With that said Noon games compared to night games is like comparing the American Athletic Northwest Hot Dog Eating Technical Conference (Formerly Big East) to the SEC in football.

Another game I won’t be attending due to the time.

People drive to Lexington from all over the state. It is a pain and a burden for BBN fans to drive, fight Lexington traffic/parking, try to tailgate for a bit just to walk into a shitty stadium that doesn’t sell beer.

Hey #3 why dont you jump ship then because we don’t need shitholes like you even acting like a UK fan. Go join Loserville if all you care about is drinking draft beer verses watching a game. I will even pay if your line beard trim session.

Well then…leave earlier and bring a flask…its not that hard. That being said, I do not like the early games either.

    3. Set your alarm earlier you lazy sack of $hit. If beer is that important to you let me know what section your sitting in and ill come sell you a beer for $7 like they do at the pizza palace that sits atop a toxic dump.

Bootlegging was made for noon kickoffs. Plus you get plenty of time to recover before going to the bars at night. I prefer night games, but I’m not a whiny bi+ch that complains about everything.

UK should provide support and resources for fans to camp out the night before these type games. Drinking and fun (tailgating) the night before.

noon games are scheduled by espn for teams that have no football tradition and are usually losers. hopefully that will change

Even with the streak of good recruiting lately, it’s still Kentucky. Start winning and the better times will follow.

The noon start is no biggie. What do you think bloody marys, screwdrivers and mimosas were invented for? If you want to start slow try a bloody beer.

BA sounds like he had a mean stepdad that was a Loserville fan….try a self help book or a few sessions of counseling.

I’m just calling balls and strikes here dude. Noon games suck. Its especially true for people like myself that pay good money to go to games like last year. Remember WKU? That was at least a night game, and I could salvage my evening enjoying Lex-Vegas.

Try drinking wildcat blood early. Just drop by and I will fix you up. Had no idea they played football here too. Just thought it was a place to get laid and get drunk.
