The hats are out!
We are approximately 25 minutes away from Aaron Gordon’s college announcement. Evan Daniels tweeted the picture above of the hats Gordon will choose from, which I’m sure you’ll evaluate the heck out of below (for what it’s worth, they’re in alphabetical order and Gordon is right-handed). The announcement will not be televised, so keep your finger on the refresh button.
Before you get out the bubbly, he’s not expected to pick the Cats. But, never say never, especially when John Calipari’s involved.

None of these hats have been put on or tested the way they were with Randall, my guesses in order of likelihood, Arizona, Oregon, Kentucky, Washington.

My gut says Arizona, but the Arizona and the Oregon hat are the most generic, while Washington’s is the most unique (still ugly).
Despite all this, I still say Arizona.

No way he chooses UK. How crowded of a front-court would we have? Unless he can play guard or SF there aren’t enough minutes. My guess is when Randle knew 6 weeks ago, Cal told Gordon, then ironically Gordon has known his choice for about 4-5 weeks.

Dan it is fun being a UK fan. We are blessed to have a great thing in the Commonwealth. I am a teacher on spring break and I glad I get to find out and not have to wait when I off work.

His choice is UK and be a part of the greatest collection of talent to ever touch the hard wood. People will look back at the 2013-2014 team and be astounded at how much NBA power that UK team had. His historic rise on the national stage of basketball begins now when he choses UK. Option 2, he picks any of the other schools and struggles to keep his name relevant until he moves onto the NBA. He has talent he is going to the NBA eventually, does he start the Aaron Gordon publicity train rolling today, or in a few years?
