When George Mason made the Final Four in 2006, there was a fun game I would always play ‘Who has been to the Final Four since Kentucky?’. After today’s show, we can play ‘Who has been on KSR since Matt Jones?’. Right now that list includes Chris from Richmond and Clay Travis…after today that list could include John Calipari, Gregg Doyel, Dan Dakich, and Rick Pitino. I wonder what odds Vegas would have given on that ever happening?

I am seeing more talk of this 5-2 defense in gthe college game. How exactly does this work? People say its a “multiple front” defense that allows you to switch from 4-3 concepts to 3-4 concepts. What type of personnel does it take to run this defense and what are the advantages of running the 5-2? Thanks so much!

I will say that Gregg Doyel has written some of the all-time greatest columns in the history of the world. I don’t know if he has been on his game in the last couple years, though, because he is just not as hateful as he once was. Hateful columns by Gregg Doyel are great and had me bustin’ a gut.

I give a crap about being the best and you can’t be the best in the nation if you don’t first have the best team in the state. The rivalry of UK-UofL is most heated in the Louisville area and if you are born and raised here you fully understand the hatred. Growing up in the schools you have kids on both sides who are brainwashed by their parents and they come and spew hatred toward one another. As those years of dealing with that go by you just build up disgust. I will never, ever, ever root for Louisville.
