The AP poll won’t be released until tomorrow afternoon but there is absolutely no doubt where Kentucky will be ranked. The Cats will be the #1 team in the country for the first time since 2003 in what will likely be a unanimous poll. The national debate is slowly changing from “when will they lose” to “if they will lose.” There isn’t a team on the schedule that can compete with the Kentucky team that showed up yesterday. Let’s hope they can keep it up and maybe, just maybe, we’ll run the table.
If you’re like me and can’t wait to see that #1 next to Kentucky, today, our good podcastin’ buddies Gary Parrish and Jeff Goodman released their Top 25 rankings. Check them out to see the shake-up in the top ten and just how far Tennessee fell after yesterday’s loss to Georgia.
