The Bluegrass Stallions are after our Enes

enesstallion

The NCAA might’ve ruled Enes Kanter permanently ineligible but that doesn’t necessarily mean we won’t be seeing Enes play basketball in Kentucky.  Brace yourself, folks… the Bluegrass Stallions have expressed interest in signing Enes Kanter. Yes, the same Bluegrass Stallions who made Woo pay for his pre-tipoff hot dogs last season.

This Stallions released this statement last night:

“We’re prepared to do everything in our power to get Enes Kanter to join our team,” Stallions president Kristin Nelson said. “We are prepared to offer a very lucrative package that would not only pay him generously but also offer comprehensive insurance coverage against injury. Even if he just played for us at home we’d love to have him.

“Obviously Enes would be a valuable addition to our roster,” Nelson said. “But we’re convinced that playing for the Stallions would help Enes as well. Enes can continue his quest for a great University of Kentucky education as he pursues a championship ring with the Stallions. Our season ends in March, so he’d have plenty of time to get ready for the (NBA) Draft.”

So Georgetown, KY’s professional basketball team wants to take a Top 5 NBA Draft pick and turn him into a circus clown – and they’d make a fortune doing so.

This would be a terrible move for Enes.  A terrible move that all of us would go watch.

Guys, I see the Enes thing as a victory! Enes will still get to be educated in the US. This is, afterall, what he wanted to come here for right? That is what everyone has said all along, and I understand it, he will be educated. Rejoice!!! Hurrah!!! This quote comes from Cal himself guys, “This has never been about our program or the University of Kentucky, it has been about the wishes of Enes and his family to have their son educated in the United States.”
Unlike this season’s football team, MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!!

Why would this be a terrible move? At least he can actually play.

After we expose the ncaa and Mr. Kanter sues them so Enes can play next year, it would prob not be good for Enes to play for them. We need to get Perry Stevenson on the Stallions, he scored 16 against them last week.

#2 nobody cared the previous times you posted it, why would a third time make a difference? And people say BTI is an idiot that shouldn’t post on this site.

Insurance policy or not, he doesn’t need to take a chance on getting injured.

This would probably be the only circumstance under which I would attend a Stallions game.

There is no upside for Enes here. His draft status is written in stone as a top 5 pick from what I understand. Why risk a few bad performances? Stay Coach Kanter.

23 nailed it. The winner in all this is Kanter. He could have been (DON’T KILL ME HERE) a flop against D1 competition and hurt his draft stock. I say good for him, he is still a top 5 pick without ever stepping on the floor.

Great Video, but I believe we’re pissing up a rope. I do believe what one person wrote on the other blog below, is if Auburn wins tonight, it may take a few years but it’ll be vacated and the Heisman will be returned because nothing like a kid with millions in his bank account will keep his mouth shut. And Auburn and the SEC will take a great hit on this.
But I wonder something, did the president of the SEC go to bat for UK and Enes like the president of the Big 10, 11 12 what ever they’re called did for Ohio St.?

    28) I wouldn’t bet a dime they did. Now my money would certainly go across the board if I were to bet that he partitioned the NCAA on the behalf of Auburn and Scam Newton.

I’m not giving up the power. I’m the reason Kanter will be a Top 5 pick. I’ll be sitting with the kid on NBA draft day so I will get the credit.

The CBA is a joke. I wouldn’t even suit up for them. Why the heck would a lottery pick risk it all for a couple grand. The highest player in the league prolly doesn’t make over $15 grand a year.
