I laugh every time I see Terrence’s face because I always recall his press conference to announce his school. He said, “Well, I guess I have to choose a school now. I want y’all to know that I haven’t decided yet.”. Then he picks up the Kansas hat. Classic moment!!

I was gonna say I wonder how long it will take for someone to complain about the Dodgers hat, but #5 already broke the seal.

Speaking of pictures, are we getting Ms. Tyler’s picture added any time soon…or at least some new pics of our leaders? Especially Drew Franklin’s!

Nothing wrong with wearing Professional Team’s hats ….if it was another college team that would be a problem per say. And its a good thing the hat is blue&white. I’ve also seen several players wear Toronto Bluejays hats (blue with white bird logo).

I don’t know but to me all these grown men running around trying to get their pictures made with young college boys is kind of creepy. Don’t get me wrong I love UK as much as anyone, I would gladly throw it up or give one of the players a dap if they came around but the number of older aged men camping and seeking young athletes is quite odd. I’m just 24 but already feel way too old to be doing something like that, am I missing something?

    29.) & 31.)

What am I not getting? These kids already get hassled enough as it is, they cannot go anywhere in Lexington without being huddled like a QB. I know the Madness campout only comes around once a year but my God I feel sorry for these kids sometimes, not sure how I’d feel about older men constantly seeking me out for pictures.

Perfect example, I was at the game Saturday night and Stacey Poole came walking up the aisle, I was sitting on the end of the row so I could have reached over and slapped him when he came walking by if I wanted to. Did I freak out and bum rush the dude to talk to him or grab him for a photo opp, no I let him go about his business and go along with what he was doing. I don’t care if it was Davis and Gilchrist walking by, if they looked at me I may throw it up and maybe give them a GO BIG BLUE, but I’m not going to act like a 12 year old girl bum rushing Justin Bieber.

Def not being a loser by having an opinion, just saying these guys are just ordinary people just like me and you. They do the same thing I do, get up and go to class and worry about stuff most college students worry about. They have been blessed with an exceptional gift to play basketball and it will pay off for a lot of them by playing in the NBA. However, as much as I like UK I’m not going to run up to these guys and make them take time out of their day to take a picture with me who they don’t even know. Would I like to talk to them, say whats up, give them a hand slap or whatever yeah thats cool, I just feel these guys have a lot more to worry about then having to take pictures with everybody just so they can have a facebook profile picture with a player so they can act like they’re boys with them or something. I know thats what the Madness Campout is all about, but Calipari has really embraced it since he has came here. He makes sure he gets the guys out there to mingle with the campers, I’m sure for the most part all the players are flattered and everything but after a while that stuff has to get old, I’m just saying one or two every now and then is fine but these guys are going to take about 5,000 pictures each over the next few days, that is ridiculous. Like I

Like I said these guys are just regular people just like me and you, they just happen to play basketball for the University of Kentucky and some will eventually play in the NBA. Just let them chill and have a good time and enjoy being college students while they are here.

#21 . . . . As time goes on throughout your life . . . if you really love our Kats, you will grow to love them more with each passing year. I am 47 but when I was your age I LOVED my Kats! But as time went on I found that each year that passed I was more heavily involved with what the team was doing. When I was your age I didn’t keep up with the drafting process, well actually unless you were a sports writer or involved with the team no one did, but for the past 15 years or so I have kept up with our Kats during the season and offseason. I see absolutely nothing wrong with following these fine young men, I guess when you get older you tend to look at them like they are your sons, we’re proud of ’em, and since we put in so much time studying them and rating their play we are gonna try to be a part of their life. It keeps us feeling young. Hey we may be getting grey hair and have more wrinkles than we did 20 years ago but we do know 1 thing for certain, we LOVE our Kentucky Wildcats!!! and if your a true fan . . . . you allways will. So J.Mac just keep on rooting for them buddy, and I can pretty much predict a part of your future, I just bet that 20 years from now you just may be commenting on an article similar to this. GO BIG BLUE!!!
