If uk can pull the upset over the vols it would be a selling point for coaching candidates. Barn hart could at least point out the uk would only have the third worse SEC record instead of tied for worse. Plus vols fans would burn down Neyland stadium and half of Knoxville in a man hunt for Derek Fooley.

The coachung search bowl what a wonderful name .. I am of firm Belief that 2 halves like the first one against sc will result in a win for UK .. Our seniors owe it to themselves to go Out and finish the job they started the frosh and soph classes need this toSpringboard themselves and impress the new candidates… Plus it’ll be fun to watch those jokers in net land lose their ever lovin minds losing to vandy yesterday and UK 2 years in a row… What a disaster… And they thought fat Phil was no good …

Rumor has it on Twitter that UT has already signed Bobby Petrino, just wait and see what buzz he brings to them, and the excitement, wish I could say the same for UK. I don’t know if Mitch ever talked to BP, but from the things I read on this website and others, Mitch wasn’t even going to try. It is a shame, this won’t be the last time we are underdogs to them…….

Said it before say it again BObby PEtrino isn’t the only fellow in the world capable of coaching football… How do we lowly creepers reading and grasping on any my buddy who knows mr X who
Flew with the team to Africa heard from His buddy that we are hiring SUPERMaN.. How do we know that MITCH isn’t in negotiation talks with bill cower or whomever? Call does have ties to the steelers organization and I would imagine Dermonti Dawson does too… So I’m gonna jump
On Matt’s side this time … Folks ease up on BP get behind whomever they hire and TOGETHER let’s turn this thing around …

I heard we are installing a gimmick offense for the UT game that will emphasize passing into the flats to an offensive lineman.

It’s just crazy enough to work!

The last time we played a coach-less team, Pitt handed us our asses, gift wrapped with pretty bows.

    5. Been behind them for 35 years no matter who they hired. This time needs to be different. Petrino, Ryan, Cow her, Tressell, etc. It will be difficult to come back for less. Will take my money elsewhere. Guess I am microwave.

9-The Wave is embarrassing. This isn’t the 1984 Olympics. Not as embarrassing as having a band who plays “Cold Hearted Snake” by Paula Abdul multiple times a game, but still embarrassing.

Who are these pathetic people that think Booby Petrino, I did not misspell Bobby, is the answer! Please get your heads out Iof the rear portion and think for real! He called Kentucky slapdicks and used some other names as well! He has left every former team a huge mess! He skipped out of Atlanta in the middle of the night! He went behind a good friends back, Tuberville, to interview for a job that was not even vacant! He cheated on his wife and he cheated both Arkansas and Louisville! Are you that stupid to think he would come to UK and suddenly become a choir boy!

I have noticed that UT and Ark have a coaching search poll on all of there major blogs and websites and I have yet to see any from UK end, would it be because they are scared to see the majority of the fans vote for BP, please enlighten me KSR.

agree with 13, why would we want someone with enough baggage to fill a 747? We need a good coach with some character. After all he will be leading young adults so it would be nice to have someone with some morals. After all most coaches are more than just a coach to these guys

Barnhart has one more shot to make a good hire. The best candidate is Petrino, but I’d say there is about a 2% chance that he has what it takes to get him on board. Matt is so full of excuses about why nothing will ever change.. but look at what happened at UL, Vandy and Western during the time Joker has been the HC at KY. KY has so many more things going for it than those three programs, yet they all left us in the dust. Its appalling and Barhart owns it, 100%.

If he doesn’t get Petrino, he needs to hire someone better. Go for Tressel. We got nothin to hide, right Sandy?

13- UK needs to hire a football coach. It’s not a choir boy or a Sunday school teacher we need. UL was ranked preseason top 10 after Petrino left. That mess was on Kragthrope.Ark. was preseason top ten this year. That mess belongs to John L.

I am not looking for a choir boy! I am looking for a young coach to give 5 years to change the culture! If we look at Tressel and due to his sanctions UK’s Athletic department goes up for NCAA review not just football, all sports!! We do not want NCAA on campus going through the garbage!! I believe UK is totally clean but you are giving them a cause to be here!

As for, L-Ville, Petrino left thugs and drug heads behind! Kragthorpe couldn’t get them to play in the right environment! Kragthorpe was a winner at Tulsa!!

The game itself is entirely secondary ; the REAL story is which program will get a real coach, and get back on track first. Even if UK manages to beat UT again this year…like last year, it will have a large * next to it, and won’t mean anything in the long run.

Matt update all these fools on the Tressel Show Cause. He is dead to us and everyone else. A good article on seaofblue covered all this weeks ago. Move on. Plus you guys think Petrino is of poor character, Tressel has ran a couple of the dirtiest programs likely in history, we just don’t have the proof to get him. Just like in Happy V, Jo PA reigned over his little kingdom and everything was covered up. I’m sure if we had any idea of the truth behind what has gone on in Columbus for years it may be more shocking than child abuse. I’d rather have a guy who cheats in his personal life than one who cheats on the field.
