Tee Martin talk heats up

Despite reports this week that he was not likely to be a top candidate, Alabama’s Rivals.com site reports tonight that Tee Martin is at the top of the list of potential candidates for the open wide receivers coaching position.  They also report that Martin, who has been pivotal in UK’s recruiting efforts, will interview for the position next week.  I’m hoping he sits on bench with wet paint like that Mentos commercial, but doesn’t have the quick wit to turn it into pinstripes.  Just a mess of paint.  And a ticket back to Lexington.

Wow, UK football has now found a way to even disappoint me in the off season!

Mitch Barnhart needs to pay Tee Martin whatever it takes to keep him in Lexington. UK does not pay its assistants enough!

No one should be surprised. Bama is a football powerhouse and most UK fans only care about basketball. He would be an idiot to turn it down.

If he got the offer he’d be a fool not to take it. It would be like Billy Donovan passing up the UK head coaching position.

Ukaa will continue to show they will do very little toward making FB better. Hope Tee stays, but sure the admin wouldn’t dare try to keep what little positives in place continuing

Matt said on his radio show that the Louisville media does not report UofL arrests like they do in Lexington hint hint. Well since Matt said hint hint I checked the online court records and there are currently 4 UofL bball players who have court appearances. Now these could be parking tickets for all I know so someone with more access can look it up. On the docket on separate days we have Peyton Siva, Mike Marra, Terrance Jennings and one Samual A Woods who is none other than Tony Woods. We need Jerry Tipton on the Courier Journal staff.

Anybody else watching the UK women play right now? They are so much fun to watch. Down 11 at Ole Miss, this team has forced 15 plus turnovers in the 2nd half to take a 7 point lead.

Great comeback by the women. Oregon just followed and their court looks like someone threw up on it.

He’s gone, no doubt. And if he does it in the next couple days expect some recruits to decommit as well.

  23. So much for showing Joker how appreciative he is for giving him his 1st SEC job, he is looking to leave after 1 year?

First off Tee is gone, more money probably, more exposure and a school that cares about its football. Secondly whoever thinks Hood needs more playing time should be banned from this site for life. Hood is a liability on both ends of the floor too slow on D and can’t get his shot off against any decent defender. Stop trying to day he would make a difference, he would, we would lose more.

We’ll just have to wait and see. Just got of the phone with my son who lives in Alabama, and he says Tider Insider has the wide reciever coach for the New Orleans Saints as the front runner.
