A lot of talk about the Uncensored BCG Podcast last night during the live blog of the McDonald’s All-American game! I hope we finally get it, since its been atleast 446 days since Matt first mentioned it… Matt, ignore everybody complaining about having to pay for it. I listened to the Top 50 Players every so often, and laugh out loud everytime. Speaking of waiting for things, today we found out that May 26 Netflix will release Season 4 of Arrested Development! I just blue myself! Also, did we ever find out more about Ernie?
I can’t wait until basketball season… we will be so good! Uncle Matt, will you all be broadcasting tomorrow from Kneeland?

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I found it hard to watch the McDonald’s All Star Game due to the hideous uniforms they were wearing. I couldn’t tell who was who due to all the uniforms seemingly blending together.

The game was very hard to watch. All-Star games in general are tough to watch but, the uniforms made it impossible. The numbers and last names were plastic. You couldn’t even see the names unless it was a close up.

Michigan is a bigger mismatch for UL. The only team with a better backcourt.
I really want Cuse to play UofL. Beat them at UofL, and had them in the conf tourney until falling apart in the second half. Michigan reminds me of a better UF team. And if they are missing shots, UofL will crush them.

#60 Michigan has a great backcourt, but I think Cuse has a very good backcourt and is the type that gives UofL bigger problems. MCW and Triche I think matchup better against Sive/Smith.

We aren’t in the NCAAT, and we aren’t going to talk about UofL v Wichita St. The McD’s AA game was discussed and it’s just an exhibition game so not much to talk about there. Should we talk about Jones getting 12 for the Kings last night, okay there 10 seconds. So you got end of the season NBA where most good teams are resting players and teams you don’t care about are fighting for playoffs. Or the start of the MLB season which doesn’t matter, and I’m a baseball fan.

#122 I think we’ll see that pick up if he continues to play like last night. His D-League visits seemed to be used to make specific improvements in areas. Don’t think he would’ve gotten the same focus from the staff had he stayed on the NBA roster. Sucked that he had to spend so much time down there, but I think they just wanted to make sure he got focused work in.

This Wiggins recruitment reminds me a lot of John Wall. 4 schools that all seemed to have an even shot at landing him. No real idea where he is leaning or when he is announcing. Transcending talent that any team would dream of having if only for a season, especially after last night. You’d like to think he’s a Kentucky lean with the Jason Jordan article and the Freudian slip Monday, but no one really knows. Just hoping the UK hat is the hat that is grabbed.

#135 I’ll agree with you there. It took longer than it should have for him to be back with the NBA team. I wonder if some of that has to do with “pride” of GMs wanting to see certain picks/tradese work out. I never really underestimate the effect GM pride can have on that stuff.
I did see comments after last night where someone said they saw “the lightbulb come on” for Jones. So maybe they were waiting for one particular thing. Who knows. Glad he’s back up in the bigs and hope he stays there.

Next year, you guys should do this matching up to each round of the NCAA tourney…BUT, seed the choices and put them on a website (the code to do this isn’t difficult) that allows listeners/visitors to the site to vote for one from each match-up for each round. When Round 1 of the tourney is done, you close voting and advance the parties accordingly for the next round of voting.

Alright, gotta say this. Not trying to be insenstive, and actually looking for the silver lining. But it’s pretty recent, so I’ll probably get deleted.
For Kevin Ware, will this injury, in the long run be better for him? Only based on Pitino’s record, he didn’t have a great chance of making it to the NBA. This made him a household name for the WHOLE country. In all likelihood he would have ended up playing in D-League or overseas. Now he has a chance to be a motivational speaker, have a book written, potential media future, etc. This injury, while obviously very unfortunate and sad, could in the long run be better for him than never getting injured.
