Sad to hear about the explosion, prayers for West, Texas. Should be a big show with Wiggins’ High School coach coming on the show. Do you like ‘I heard it from this guy, who heard it from this guy’ type rumors? If so, I got one for you (if not, skip down to JB’s post). I go to church with a guy who plays basketball with one of the trainers at UK and he says, that the trainer says ‘Wiggins is in the bag’. I don’t necessarily put a lot of stock into it, and neither did my friend at church, but I know some people like reading that type of stuff. When is Sting coming on the show?

Here’s a question. I know Matt has said in the past that a book would have an effect on the show. I’m just curious what that would be. I’m excited for the book and this season but just wondering how it may change things.
Do you guys not remember when Matt let it slip that Wiggins was coming? It was in a conversation with Ryan, he let it slip and then went, “SHHHH” and you could tell Matt was smiling when he said it. Happened a week or 2 ago, I think he knows more than he can say.

I actually think this whole recruiting process helps add to the mystique about Wiggins. If he’d just came out and said I’m going to this school 6 months ago, we wouldn’t be talking about him. But right now, after the season ended and things, he’s dominating the conversation. He may legitimately not know where he’s going, but I think it’s helping to hype him up the longer it’s dragged out.
#7/Real JD, Wiggins may have told Cal he’s coming, but until he signs the LOI and is on campus I won’t say anything’s 100%. Remember Shabazz committed to UK and Duke and ended up at UCLA.

I still think it’s Kansas. I think the final push should be to let him know what it’s like to be part of the BBN for life. Money won’t be an issue, but this place puts every one else to shame when it comes to a support network when you need it most. Use the force cats!

Hazard High School recruited 50 years ago.
Schools can recruit in Lexington. The player will have to sit out a year, they can get into their program like MSTC (Dunbar), Pre-Engineering (Lafayette), etc… or, the coaches have the parents rent a place in district (I know a lot of high school families that do that)
