Are you ready for some football? Well I am. I am about to take off towards the great Commonwealth Stadium as the Cats are about to take on the mighty Gators. By all indications, this game could be held in a monsoon, and if so we have to remember a mantra: when in doubt, bad weather helps the underdog. I am not sure if it is true but I want to act like it is and feel the glory of a potential victory over the Gators.
Of course the big news is that Tim Tebow may or may not be digging on swine tonight. He flew on a different plane than the team and is being kept in solitary confinement before the game, likely at Gattitown. We all know that Tebow will play, be given props for his unbelievable heart and ability to overcome adversity and probably give a speech that will be read at the UN. But no matter what, him being even a little bit under the weather helps the Cats, so there is hope.
Apparently there are still lots of people tailgating in the coming rain and I am now headed that way. Remember to send in your best tailgating pictures for the blog tonight and tomorrow. Our “Scenes from the Game” post on Sunday will contain the best pictures we get. So send them to [email protected]
LIVE BLOG for the game at 5:30 pm and it will be a swell affair. Stay tuned………..
