Not much man, just trying to rest up after a long day on the course. Being the unstoppable force that I am, my first day +1 isn’t satisfying, but it’s not too shabby. I’m in 34th place overall and fellow Wildcat Steve Flesch is one stroke better and finds himself in a cluster of guys for 19th place. I’m already five strokes off the lead, but I’m only one behind that Tiger guy, who finds himself tied with my boy Steve. And he usually tends to fade down the stretch, right?
The most disappointing news of the day, though, came when I saw that “B. Snedekar” was tied for third place with a first round -3. After my initial enthusiasm and an awkward “C-A-T-S! Cats! Cats! Cats!” call in the front of Founder’s Circle, I was informed that he is not in fact any relation to one of the most bad-ass linebackers in the UK history. Flesch and I are still planning on a charge tomorrow to make sure my Cats call wasn’t without reason. I’ll keep you posted.
