Hey there, Big Blue Nation. Thanks for joining us on this beautiful Sunday morning. Chris Thomas and I are going to guide you through the day, bringing you everything we can find regarding your beloved Kentucky Wildcats. How bout some links to get it started?

-Philadelphia 76ers coach, Doug Collins, is the latest guy to gush about Anthony Davis. He says the way Davis handled himself on such a big stage like the Olympics is indicative of the type of person he is. Collins says, “The sky is the limit for this guy.”

-Slam Online recaps the Under Armour Elite 24 game that featured UK Targets Julius Randle and Aaron Gordon. Both Randle and Gordon were named co-MVP of the game.

-The Kentucky men’s soccer team will open up its 2012 season and the Johan Cedergren era today as they travel to face Dayton. Here is a preview of the matchup.

UK’s Women’s Volleyball team won the Kentucky Classic tournament on Saturday night. They defeated Long Beach State 3-1 and will travel to the Yum Center to face rival Louisville on Wednesday night.

-Corey Roepken of the Houston Chronicle previews every SEC school before the college football season kicks off. Roepken lists the traditions, rivalries, and memorable moments of each team. Kentucky’s 2007 3-OT win over LSU is listed.

    I don’t know if I agree with all the rivalries. I’m not a fan of Florida or Tennessee, but I imagine they aren’t each others BIGGEST rival, at least not any more. ALSO, everyone who has a rival within the conference matches up (i.e. Alabama is Auburn’s biggest rival and visa versa), EXCEPT for old #AnchorDown. Vandy’s biggest rival is Mississippi. Of course Ole Miss’ biggest rival is Mississippi State.

    Aaron Gordon is a freakshow..Hope he realizes his talents would be best utilized in Lexington..
