Just saw Mookie Baylock is on life support after an auto accident. I know he has sons that play for UK. I hope he makes it, but it sounds serious.

@6 I saw that on Fox5 down here. Blaylock was a Hawk when I was in high school and was one of my favorite players. I hope him and everybody involved make it. I know Mookie likes to frequent certain watering holes just down Tara Blvd in Griffin, Ga. With that said I hope this story doesn’t get any worse.

I’m excited about Stoops and this class, but the number one in that poll makes me sick. What the hell is happening? If they’re doing that, then Stoops needs to top it.

WOW! Are they giving out the 2013 Heisman Trophy right now too? Oh, they are actually waiting until the season is over? OK.

    11, exactly.

“And he’s only getting started.” Yeah? I guess all the other schools have already quit? Good for us, eh?

My guess is 3 years and Stoops will be on to bigger and better things! If he proves he can coach and recruit with his last name he will be up for more higher profile jobs. Win win for everyone UK can use the Stoops name to get better players and he gets a chance to prove his self!

Hope stoops can get some stops or it’s going to be a long season because our D has sucked for about 4 years!

12th in nation, still 5th in SEC and behind our rival, but much better than we are used to.

#5MadTex…That’s funny because I did not know that Otis was a member of the SEC..Much more interested in the teams in our league that worrying about them..

#13…Why?..With $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and continued support on facilities and fans packing CWS there is NO reason that “bigger and better things” can’t be done right here at THE University of Kentucky..

Way too early to worry about these rankings. Power teams like Alabama, LSU, and many not yet even in these rankings will pass us later when all the four and five star players make their decisions. Just be happy recruiting has improved but we will not finish anywhere near 12th.

Poops’ greatest accomplishment at UK will be Spring Game attendance

Kentucky should be “bigger and better things” – if he does indeed revive it, he should be paid the part. Historically Kentucky has been a dominant football program and was started ten years before the basketball program…it’s also the program that got the nickname “Wildcats” which of course as we know became the official school mascot.
