Stoops Gets ANOTHER One

This is really starting to get unbelievable. South Warren DT Adrian Middleton has committed to Kentucky today. He is 6’4″, 275 pounds and what we might call a “hoss.” The stud DT has long been presumed to be a Louisville lean, but the UK momentum must have swung him the other way, as he chose the Wildcats today in a bit of a surprise. He marks the 18th UK commitment and a big in-state win for the staff that is trying to lock the doors on the Bluegrass state. Here is an interview with the young man:

If we get Matt Elam that means we got 3 of the 5 best recruits in Kentucky. These are kids that would be playing at other SEC schools, or Louisville, and Kentucky got them. Victory in itself.
Just my opinion, but I think Elam is going to end up at Bama.
That dude does NOT look 275lbs if he’s 6’4″. I’m 6’5″ 215 and I’m not small. I would believe 6’4″ 230lbs.
4, you think he is going to Bama, even after Bama has 2 guys at the same position in his class? And that whole, “you’re the best at your position in the country” debacle? I mean, I can see him going to Alabama. I can see any player in the country choosing Alabama. I just was under the impression, that he had been miffed by Saban’s recruiting.
@5 Dude the pic cuts off at his torso and he is sitting down in the vid. Jeez you wouldnt be able to tell how tall he is from these. Hes not sitting or standing next to anyone for perspective. Use some common sense.
Comma splices.
Glad to see a lineman commit. Hope to see more quality big men like Middleton shoring up both lines. Nice pick-up.
I wonder how Ole Charlie likes getting owned by Kentucky.
Maybe Louisville should go back to recruiting players Kentucky doesn’t want. That should be easy enough – They could just recruit players that don’t go to class. They already have the lowest APR in the country so it doesn’t matter any way.
Not the highest rated player, but Stoops has to go after the top 5 players in Kentucky…just because. He gets it!
Hope he sticks around.
Dude’s an individual.
Welcome to BBN!
10, I dislike Louisville as much as the next guy, but Charlie Strong has completely turned UL’s APR around. Krag had it in the 800’s. It is a four year scale, so Krag’s last year there is still counted. I understand the bias, but at least make it factual
Welcome Mr. Middleton
Hope to see Elam right next to him in the 4-3. Welcome to BBN Middleton
Middleton is actually our 17th commit. Tyre Brady’s commitment has not been accepted yet by the UK coaches.
Pretty sure I just saw Middleton at Walmart in bowling green.
