3rd in the nation…still 3rd in the conference. Who still doesn’t think SEC is best conference in country? And there’s no LSU, Florida, or Alabama up there yet.

Amazing! Even more amazing is that we’re still only 3rd in the SEC. If things keep going like this we’ll be competing with the top tier sec teams in 3-4 years! I don’t think I’ve ever had this much of a positive attitude about UK football!

Bama, Ohio State, Miami, michigan, clemson, fsu, lsu, florida, georgia, are going to pass us when the top 250 starts signing. Bare in mind UK basketball is ranked 14th in 2015 class and we know byu and arizona are also ahead of us right now.

Ya know, as much attention as KSR / BBN attracts from haters, we ought to have a “Troller-Blog”. ya know? Mods could transfer all the troller hate comments to there instead of deleting them and we could… Oh nevermind. I had a moment & I won’t expound upon further.

    Now, where were we?

    7. OK Debbie Downer…let’s say we drop to 15-25 range…still a heck of a lot better than the 60s. Plus our 3 star commitments are choosing us instead of Wisconsin, West Virginia, Tennessee, rather Kent St, Ohio, Middle Tenn St

How is our avg rating higher than Texas? We have one less three star commit but the same number of total commits yet our avg is 3.33 and their avg is 3.31.

17 – my best guess is that Juco commits aren’t counted in their average, and we have 1 or 2 JUCO commits if I am not mistaken.

Where are the rankings for the 2018 class? KY just offered a scholarship to the 7th grader? Just like the 2014 class, the rest of the SEC has yet to make their move. Be happy, but be real. Still better than “Bachelor” updates……

11, Thanks for the positivity! Also, recruits see UK ranked high generates excitement for uncommitted guys who are considering the cats. Of course once the 4 and 5 stars begin committing we will fall but will be in the top 20 and 8th to 12th in the SEC. Most importantly, closing the gap with the rest of the conference. Stoops can develop talent so these guys can be 8,9 wins per year when mature….let’s stay positive bbn!

16-favorite kind of post. youre giving “everyone” perspective bc “everyone thinks we will finish 3rd in recruiting”
only a god d*** moron would assume that.
and, only a (s****y) hater OR a god d*** moron would think this post says ppl believe thats where we’ll finish the season.
i do know that this class (as is) would’ve finished 38th, 19th, 20th the past 3 years.

All I know is Stoops and company are off to the best start possible in recruiting. As Admiral Yamamoto said after Pearl Harbor, “I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.” Okay, so that may not be totally relevant but you get the gist of it. I’m sure Ohio State is not happy about UK’s recruiting success in their state. And while other SEC foes might like the idea of UK getting better overall, I don’t think they want to see UK string together recruiting classes like this every year with Stoops at the helm.

    16. Your such a moron and know nothing about sports if your being serious. Ethier you a joker lover, cards fan, or just a Hattie life hater in general type of person that always looks to negatively with anything about life. Look at where we were at at this point last year. We finished 2-10. Just to finish within the top thirty would be impressive but we are ranked ahead of Texas who has the same amount of recruits. Texas!!!!!!! Get a life loser and quit trying to be a little b$$$. yea say its the sec, and we will finish 8-12th in the sec. Sorry the cats are in the best conference by far not some [email protected]@@@ one like Louisville where you need mediocre talent to win. The cards will drop out the top thirty. We will see where Louisville in comparison to uk in several years.

We shouldn’t have any issue sticking as a top 25, I don’t think. Horton, West, Edwards, Barker, and Snodgrass all seem like super hard commits which gives you (depending on the service) four 4* recruits (and maybe 5). Barker might even get 5* on a website or two after Elite11. Elam seems likely to commit and I think he picks up another star as we go on from a few sites. Despite all his flopping, Ware at some point has to stop, and I think other team will be turned off from it. Can put Boom in that same camp, too. We probably lose a 3* or two, as these things happen, but as long as we keep 4-6 4* recruits, we’ll be a lock for the top-25. Honestly, I think we’ll even end up in the top-15 range, when you consider we’ll probably have 6-7 four star recruits after we pick up another 4* Wr in either Bone, Kief, or Barrios (hell, maybe 2, but lets not count ourselves too lucky, here, either).

6 SEC teams finished the football season in the top 10 in the nation. So, you can finish 6th in the SEC and still be a top 10 team national. I will take that.

This is an amazing turn-around. Incredible regardless of where we end with this recruiting class. Just curious, tho, how we have 3.33 vs. Texas’ 3.31 and 1541 vs. 1538, respectively, when we both have 5 – 4stars then we have 10 – 3stars while they have 11-3stars? How are we higher? What am I missing b/c the ’16th’ player has to be a two-star or less, right? Which puts us below Texas.

    Still Incredible! But curious.

    I guess our 4 and/or 3-stars could be ranked higher (?).
