It looks like maybe, just maybe, something might have come out of the NABC’s suggestion that coaches not offer scholarships to players before they’re juniors in high school – besides a whole bunch of rebel commitments. The NCAA ruled yesterday that college coaches could no longer contact middle schoolers in an effort to receive their basketball services. You’d half to assume that a) this is somehow related to the NABC suggestion and b) the Duke Talent Search Program, which identifies gifted and talented children in middle school, will still continue. Stinking NCAA!!!!
Also, while we’re on the subject of contacting middle schoolers, this is a whole bunch of fun.
