State Farm’s GameDay Bus Stop in Louisville Wants A Thursday Night Tevin Lawson Update

Tracy Blair Haus – State Farm is bringing the The ESPN College GameDay bus to Louisville this Thursday before it heads to Lexington for Saturday’s game against Missouri. Fans can come to the Middletown BW3’s (12901 Shelbyville Road) from 3-6 pm to tour and take pictures.   There will also be several giveaways, including tickets to the UK vs. Florida game on March 9th, GameDay tickets, t-shirts, gift cards, wings and other great UK gear.

I’m afraid it may be getting close to time to give up on Tevin Lawson. Dru Nettles, Lawson’s high school coach, told Justin Rowland over at Rivals.com that he is likely to end up at TCU or Louisiana Tech. The highly-ranked defensive tackle likes Stoops and Kentucky, but the distance between Lexington and his hometown in Louisiana is just too much for Mama Lawson to look past.

Nettles did say Kentucky is still in the mix right now, just fading fast.

It is still almost 500 miles from mama to TCU…as compared to 790 to Lexington…what’s a couple of hundred miles (2.5 hours) in comparison to spending the next four years of being prosperous and shaping your future?
