Start you morning with some Cliff Alexander dunks

You still look a little sleepy. Let 2014 big man Cliff Alexander wake you up with some rim-shaking dunks.

Cal watched Alexander play in the Fab 48 this past weekend in Las Vegas, along with Stanley Johnson, Emmanuel Mudiay, and Jahlil Okafor. I’ll have a 2014 Big Board update for you a little on.

I’ll take a poor man’s Cousins any day. That said, I’m pretty dang impressed. I think he would absolutely thrive in Cal system. Long, lean, strong and he seems to have great hands and awareness of the floor. I like dunks.

I see this said all the time. Would Someone explain what Cal’s “system” is, and please do not say “the dribble drive”, as we have not seen any version of the “dribble drive” since Cals first season, and it wasnt much then. Cal left the DDMO in Memphis.

(At the Peach Jam) says he wants to take official visits to Kansas, Memphis, Louisville and Arizona. His fifth trip is yet to be determined. With Michigan St considered the odds-on favorite, if we dont get that 5th “official” he likely will NOT be coming to lexington.

4 – His system is getting the best players available, getting them to buy-in, play excellent D, beat Louisville 4 out of 5 times, go to Final Fours, win National Championships, and get players drafted first round. And try to employ the DDMO.

“we have not seen any version of the “dribble drive” since Cals first season, and it wasnt much then.” We were ranked number one in the country in his first year at UK. How many has Loserville been ranked #1? Twice? In history?

    Just sayin’…..

Cal rolls the ball put there and hopes the players make him look. It only works when uncle Wes buys Cow superior players. Wes brought in a couple stiffs last year and the house of cards fell.

@10…It’s great that you are so obsessed with UK that you can’t enjoy ul’s luck from last year. It really just shows how big of a dumbass you truly are. But keep it coming, Matt really enjoys the hits…..LOL

    Unbelieveable
Cal is one of the only coaches secure and capable enough to adjust his “system” to fit the talent he has at the current time. He did have any one like Cousins, Davis, Noel, Patterson, Jones ecetera, at Memphis so he adapted. Unlike some Hall of Shame coaches that take pride in breaking down his players physce to make them fit into his system for multiple seasons until they are robots or shadows of who they were.

Funny about the just “rolls the ball out ” people. They must not be able to comprehend what even Cal ‘s detractors in the press have said about his ability to really be able to Coach and develop players. Uk didn’t
Think Teague would be drafted until his second year putting Harrow alone and it showed. Teague would still be in school at U of L running on a tread mill instead backing up Derrick Rose.

UL fans typically arent very bball savvy…75% of them only started watching when Pitino became the coach. Every single bball person who actually knows about bball and been to Cal’s practice says he is one of the game’s elite teachers.

Too bad he’s going to Michigan St. I hope UK can get him but from what I’ve read he’s MSU bound.

Good point. Going from the 1980s to 2013 not being a factor in College BB and the last 11or 12 seasons with a super star personality with no ring doesn’t breed involvement.

#10-That post is sheer brilliance. You display the wit and intelligence you are known for, but perhaps most impressive is your originality. Please promise you will continue to post these nuggets of wisdom.
