Sometimes in life, mistakes are made, apologies are issued, and feet are placed in mouths. This is one of those times.
It has been brought to our attention that the Mason County school board never blocked KentuckySportsRadio.com on its computers. We did receive multiple tweets and e-mails this morning saying that was the case, but apparently it was a technical issue that kept KSR from working. Looking back, I guess we shouldn’t be surprised that a site with reports about a Playboy model was blocked on computers used for education. I’m no IT guy but my guess is that might’ve had something to do with it.
I hope the Mason County school personnel will accept our apology and understand that we were never really upset; it was all in fun and it was a way to interact with our commenters through an imaginary #OccupyMaysville movement. We’ve been known to do things in the most ridiculous manner possible around here, in case you haven’t heard.
So to Associate Superintendent Kelly Middleton and everyone else… we’re sorry. We’d never intentionally do anything to hurt the county that gave us Darius Miller.
