Some Cats Are Trippin’ & My Picks

Before we start taking a look at where some of the UK targets are going to be traveling this weekend, I thought that I would jump out of my unbiased quasi member of the media mindset and tell you guys who I, as a fan of UK basketball, would like to see in Blue & White in 2010. This is in honor of the poll on the right side of the page, where you’ll find Mr. Knight smacking dudes around like Braylon Edwards in Midgetville (allegedly of course). Since I write the rules in this 6×12 inch section of cyberspace, I’m including Doron Lamb, Jelan Kendrick and Terrence Jones in my options. Here’s my wish list:

(1) Tobias Harris
(2) Brandon Knight
(3) Doron Lamb
(4) CJ Leslie
(5) Terrence Jones
(6) Jelan Kendrick
(7) Kyrie Irving
(8) Josh Selby
(9) Adreian Payne

Just my personal list which has nothing to do with predictions of any sort. I didn’t order it by how a class might shape up either, meaning that Kentucky probably couldn’t get the top 5 because the class would be unbalanced position-wise.  Now, getting back into facts, which you guys probably care about, and getting away from my opinions, which, by the way, I’d love to get your feedback on (my personal email address is [email protected]), let’s take a look at where some of UK’s targets will be tripping to this weekend:

Tobias Harris (Tennessee)– This is his 2nd official visit, with the first being to Syracuse two weekends ago. Kentucky should be his next trip which will be during Big Blue Madness.

Adreian Payne (Arizona)– Zona will be his 3rd official visit. The 1st was to UK and the 2nd occurred last weekend to Michigan State. He heads to West Virginia’s midnight madness on the 16th and finishes up with Kansas on the 30th.

Terrence Jones (Oklahoma)– Jones kicks off his visits with this official to Oklahoma. He will then have Washington’s midnight madness, (Arizona or Kansas), Kentucky on the 28th for the Blue-White scrimmage, an unofficial to Oregon and he’ll finish it off with a November 6th trip to UCLA. The loser of the Arizona/Kansas visit will probably get a visit at some point as well, according to what his mother has been saying.

Kyrie Irving (Texas A&M)– This is Kyrie’s second visit, with the first being to Duke. Irving will then be at Kentucky for midnight madness followed by visits to Georgia Tech and Seton Hall.

I enjoy basketball, Kentucky sports and extremely short walks on the beach, followed by a nap. Sorry ladies, I'm taken.
