Two quotes today in the Lexington Herald Leader by Ramel Bradley about Tubby Smith’s new “grading system” for evaluating players in practice cause some concern:
At first, guys were just like, they didn’t just feel like there was any point to it,” reserve guard Ramel Bradley said. “Then it was like, well, I guess we’re going to have to just flow with it and go harder, and everybody voted to do it.”
“I guess it’s supposed to (make us) play harder in practice, I guess,” Bradley said. “I really feel like there’s not too much you can change right now with it being the middle of the season.”
Everybody knows that KSR Radio loves Smooth. But these quotes are, at least from my perspective, a bit troubling. Makes you wonder where Bradley’s head is long term.
