Shawn Blaylock also transferring

596433

It looks like Mark Stoops is still in spring cleaning mode. According to Fox Sports’ Jordan Wells, cornerback Shawn Blaylock is also transferring from UK. Blaylock redshirted his freshman year because of a knee injury. Keep in mind he is not related to twins Zack and Daron Blaylock, who are also on the team. There’s no further word on why he’s transferring from UK.

Anyone else?

Speaking of which, any update on how Mookie Blaylock is doing? That was most unfortunate that a woman died in the van that he hit.

Calipari cleaned house when he came to Kentucky… looks as if Stoops is taking a page from Cal’s book.

#1 Don’t let the hipster glasses fool you. These kids don’t get scholarship offers if they’re not elite athletes at some level.

Attrition is expected every year in football regardless of whether it’s a new staff or not. I’m sure there are still more people to come.

5- notice how the majority of those people write for duke sites? I wouldn’t take any stock in that at all.

#8- “at some level” Certainly compared to me he’s an elite athlete, but to the SEC WR he’s assigned to defend?

I bet if we were able to talk to the new coaching staff they would probably tell us about half of the current roster are not Div I material.

From this picture he could be 6’4 and run a 4.2 40.
Obviously that is not the case, but this picture does nothing to indicate otherwise.

That’s a picture of an old model UK player, it doesn’t fit the present business model.

#3, if Mookie was driving drunk and killed someone, it is not “unfortunate”, its a crime.

Mookie was not drunk or on drugs according to reports…..its being said he suffered a seizure that have plagued him for a long time.

Mookie is able to speak and in stable condition.
